Lavellan felt hot tears falling down her cheeks, something inside her hurt, and it wasn't the poison. She was stunned, "Solas the Dread Wolf? And he wants to destroy the world..." And in a sheer moment of stupidity, Haylie agreed to destroying the one thing that could possibly have the power to save it. Haylie didn't quite know why she agreed, she didn't want to get rid of the child. Sure, it'd be a bit to adjust to. But Haylie had already decided she wanted it. And on top of that, the child was the key to saving the world. Haylie thought about it, and then it all made sense. Solas was the Dread Wolf, he was a god, the god of trickery no less. If he wanted something done it would be so easy for him to make anyone go along with it. But why would he do that to her? Why would trick her? Haylie suddenly felt another wave of sickness hit, and with a snap , Cole was back. He held a small pot for Haylie and held back her hair as she retched violently, choking as she cried. She plopped back into the floor and curled in a ball. "He wanted them dead! He-he made me...I-they're gone." Haylie cried. You mustn't lie back down in the blood. I will get you some fresh clothes." Cole said, as if Haylie were a small toddler. Haylie didn't have the energy to respond, she simply nodded and scrunched up smaller. As Cole brought the clothes over to her, he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. He reached his hand down and touched Haylies abdomen. She wanted dearly to smack it away, but she simply let him. "The child is still alive...He never even scratched the surface. They want to protect you, to make you well again." Cole said "And they will. The power is building, they are learning, learning to harness it... They need it for what is to come. So much darkness..." Cole shuddered. Haylie perked up at the words but she dared not hope. She was lying in a pool of blood after all. She hopped up from the floor so fast Cole had to catch her and help her rebalance herself. She proceeded to change and wipe the blood from her body. Determined to see a healer as soon as possible to have this confirmed. She skittered through the main hall, others stopped and stared with wide eyes at the Inquistor running around again. One noble woman even suggested she had pulled the stunt as a way of escaping "dreadful small talk and the beastly Ferelden fare that was being served that day." Once Haylie reached the Healers, a young blonde woman offered her assistance and led Haylie to a small room with a bed and several baskets of medical supplies. Haylie was ordered to undress down to her skivvies and lie down to be examined. As she lay there she rested a hand on her stomach and held her breath with fear and anticipation. "Aye, young Miss inquisitor. Relax, I can't very well examine yeh when you're all clenched up like that." Haylie closed her eyes and imagined what her baby would look like, she imagined a tiny baby with chubby fingers and cheeks and soft brown hair. She'd want it to have Solas's eyes and his warm smile. Haylie remembered how kind his smile always was and for a small moment, She wished he was here to hold her hand. "Aye, 'tis alive and kicking my lady. Well, metaphorically at least. You won't feel the kickin' quite yet." Tears filled Lavellan's eyes at the news. Her baby was alive. There was hope.
She was going to fight for This world. And for Solas. She would prove to him his prophesy was wrong.
