“It’s so hot over here,” Harry groans.
“And windy,” Niall adds as we enter the hotel. Paul is checking us in. He soon comes back to us with hotel keycards. He got us each individual rooms this time because we all kind of needed a little break for ourselves. We are all still on the same floor though so we can keep some privacy. We all pile into the elevator and take off our glasses. We soon arrive on our floor and I walk over to my room.
It’s quite a nice room. The walls are a golden color. The bed is very nice. It’s a queen with a white duvet that has intricate gold patterns to match the room. I set my bags down on the bed and walk over to the balcony area. It’s really nice. There’s a table with a few chairs around it and a swinging bench. I walk over to the railing and look out along the view. Puerto Rico is breathtaking.
I remember when I was young, I always wanted to visit one of the tropical islands and I’m glad that now I can. I would always imagine bring a bunch of friends and we’d bring our girl’s and have an amazing time. We’d swim in the ocean and have one of those classic beach parties that you see in the movies. I’d go back home later and be yelled at by my mum for being away for too long. Ha. It’d probably be that way now, except that Monica and the lad’s girlfriends aren’t here too.
My phone starts to ring in my pocket, interrupting my thoughts. I look at the caller I.D. and smile, once it see who it is.
“Hi babe,” I answer and walk back inside.
“Hey! So you just landed in Puerto Rico like an hour or so right?” she asks me.
“Yeah. How’d you know?” I ask her this time.
“The fans would know,” she replies and I laugh.
“Be serious,” I tell her.
“Okay you caught me. I looked it up,” she admits and I laugh even more.
“So how’re you liking it there?” she asks and I smile.
“It’s really breathtaking. I can’t believe that you’re from here. When was the last time that you even visited?” I ask her taking a seat on my bed. I run my fingers through my hair and smile like a retard
“Not since I was little,” she responds.
“When’s the next time you think that you’ll come back?” I ask her.
“I have no idea, but I hope that I can soon. What hotel are you staying at?” she asks me.
“The Ritz-Carlton reserve. Why?” I ask her.
“Oh! My grandma’s house is near there! I sent her home with something that I was going to have her drop off for you,” she answers.
“You didn’t have to do that,” I tell her. I wonder what it is?
“Yes I did. I have to go now though. Alex is a butt. I’ll call you later yeah?” she asks and I smile.
“I’d like that,” I reply.
“Bye,” she says.
“Bye,” I respond and she hangs up. Now I just have to wait for her grandma to arrive here. The tabloids are going to have a field day with this. I decide to go and take a quick shower so I can smell presentable and look presentable for when I finally meet someone of her family. This is going to be nice.
My shower is quick. I get out feeling much less jetlagged. I slip on some trousers and pants, then throw a white t-shirt on over my head. I walk over to my phone and check on it to see that I have a missed call from Monica. Shit. I hurry and put on some cologne and comb my hair. I pick up my phone and redial her.
