I can't believe she's already gone.

She seemed so weird being around me today. It was almost as if she wanted to be here, but didn't exactly at the same time. Like, she was confused. It's not entirely normal you could say.

I sulk back up to my room, extremely bored and kind of sad. I close the door upon entering and plop myself down on the bed. What am I going to do until she returns? I'm usually with the lads so it doesn't matter. I have no one now. I turn on the T.V. and start browsing through the channels. Eh. Family Guy is better than nothing which is my only option right now. My phone starts vibrating though interrupting my show. I groan and pick it up.

"Hello?" I whine.

"Someone's grumpy for seeing their girlfriend today," a familiar voice says and I smile.

"Hi Perrie," I respond.

"Hey Zayn. So have you seen Monica yet?" She asks me.

"Yeah...," I say.

"How'd it go? Was it how you imagined it would be?" She asks and I feel the frown forming on my face.

"Alright I guess," I respond trying to be as casual about it as possible.

"What do you mean alright?" She asks me. I sigh.

"She came back to my place and was being really sketchy ya know? She didn't even stay long. She says she is going to come back later tonight but I'm not so sure...,," I tell her.

"What do you mean sketchy?" She asks me. She is always full of questions, never answers.

"She was hiding something weird in her bag and she was kind of avoiding me. She seemed in a hurry to be out of here," I explain to Perrie.

"Where did you even run into her at?" She asks me totally changing the subject.

"The gym across the street. I hate that place by the way," I say and she chuckles.

"See it's no big deal. She was probably upset that you caught her off guard and she had just been working out. If I was her, I wouldn't want you to see me all sweaty and nasty either," she admits and I laugh.

"You have a point. Thanks. I was just overreacting to nothing," I tell her even though it doesn't feel right.

"You were, but you're better now," she says and I can just imagine her perfect smile. Perfect? What? She is attractive...

"Course I am and it's only because I'm talking to you," I tease and I know she's flushed.

"Why can't I find a guy like you? You're just so ugh. Perfect," she admits annoyed and I smile, heat rising to my cheeks. This is like middle school romance again....wait what? I have Monica! I really shouldn't be thinking this way.

"Don't think that way Perrie. I am far from perfect," I respond and she's laughing her contagious laugh again.

"You're insecure, don't know what for," she horridly sings and I'm almost rolling in the floor from laughter.

"Using my own lines against me...tsk tsk. That isn't very nice. Like at all," I respond with a smile on my face.

"Not like you've never done it to me," she answers and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"Like when?" I ask and she coughs, clearing her throat.

"'Feeling like it's my birthday, like Christmas Day came early,' for fucks sake that song hasn't even come out yet!" She says mocking me.

"When did I say that?" I ask.

"When I came over to your place with a box of pizza," she says and I can imagine the frown that's probably sprawled across her face. I roll back onto my bad and I laugh. I love how easily she can cheer me up when I'm in a bad mood.
