Just Go With It Chapter 2

Raven’s POV

I opened my eyes slowly and looked over at the tree outside my window. I felt something touch my shoulder and I looked down to see a bare arm wrapped around me and I looked to see that I was naked. Oh my god what happened last night after all the drinks and various other thing. I looked up the arm and turned around to see Jayden fast asleep with his arms around me. He was naked too shit last night did we? Holy crap we did what am I going to do? I tried to slip out of his arms and he groaned and held me closer. “Jayden”, I said trying to get free.

“What?” he said opening his eyes then saw our situation, “shit”. He let go of me and I grabbed my bathrobe and wrapped it around myself and tossed him his boxers. “How did that happen?” he asked looking at the bed.

“I don’t know”, I said trying to remember; “shit this is my parent’s house I’m in so much trouble”.

“You’re in trouble my brother is going to crucify me for touching his girl”, he said putting on his jeans.

“We are in such deep shit”, I said putting on some stray jeans and my puppy, Snowball came running in and started barking at Jayden. “Snowball cookie”, I said throwing a treat into the bathroom and closed the door. He whined as I put on my shirt.

“What are we going to do?” he asked quietly.

“Act like it never happened and pray that no one caught the show”, I said grabbing a hoodie.

“Good plan so we stay friends”, he said relieved.

“Right and we just act normal at school”, I nodded.

“Shit it’s still Friday”, he said and I froze. It was Friday we had to go to school today this didn’t bode well.

“Alright I better go downstairs go out the window and go home”, I commanded evenly. He agreed and snuck out the window and I ran downstairs.

“Morning sweetheart”, mom said kissing me on the cheek.

“Hi mom, hey dad”, I said sitting on a stool.

“Is Jayden coming down or did he sneak out the window?” dad asked.

“What?” I said innocently.

“Well you see last night at around three in the morning you two came racing into the house, kissing and messing around then went upstairs need I say more”, mom said pleased.

“You’re okay with this”, I said confused.

“He is the alpha’s son and a very nice looking young man”, she said cheerfully.

“Mom, dad we’ve been friends since we were toddlers it’d be too weird”, I said pouring milk into my bowl of Wheaties.

“We’ll see”, she said and I looked over at the clock.

“I got to go”, I said grabbing my backpack and headed out the door just as Reese pulled up onto the curb. Reese was the only one with a license but she was horrifying driver.

“Hey girl”, Lily said peeking out.

“Nice job Reese’s”, I said climbing into the passenger seat, “you really should try out for Canada’s Worst Driver”.

“I’ve been thinking about that too”, she said pulling off the curb.

“So what did everyone do last night?” I asked.

“I made out with like ten guys”, Emily announced.

“I danced until I fell over then a really cute boy drove me home”, Lil said cheerily.

“I drank too much I think it’s affecting my driving”, Reese said yawning.

“Nothing could possibly affect your driving Reese”, I assured her.

“So, what did you and Jay get up to?” Lily asked.

“We played poker and I won fifteen bucks then we past out drunk on the floor”, I lied expertly.

“Nice work”, Reese laughed, “you’re in charge of crowd control”. I got up slipping in through the roof opening as we entered the school’s street.

“Alright, everyone clear the streets”, I yelled, “Reese is driving”. They all ran for the school as Reese drove down the street in a reasonably straight line.

“Hey Williams, can we talk?” Erick called after me.

“I have a very long list of fans maybe I’ll have some free time tomorrow or never who knows”, I said shrugging it him off.

“I’ll get your attention one of these days”, he called.

“Don’t count on it”, I muttered. I broke the crowds and we almost hit several cars then finally got to our spot. I gave her exact directions and she managed to straight herself out. We were perfectly straight and we did our secret handshake then headed inside.

“There’s your poker buddy”, Reese said.

“Hey loser”, Lily called.

“Hey girls”, Marcus said approaching followed by the rest of Jay’s group but he wasn’t here yet. We went inside and sat at our table and the girls chatted with the football guys a.k.a. Jay’s group.

“Hey everyone”, Jay said joining us with Erick.

“Hi”, I said glaring at him then Rebecca joined us too.

“Rave, can we talk now?” Rebecca said seriously. Can you say gulp. I nodded and followed her outside and she took me out behind the field house.

“Get your grimy hands off of Erick and Jayden they’re mine”, she ordered.

“You can’t have two guys”, I said rolling my eyes.

“I can have whoever I want”, she smirked.

“You really are a slut, you know”, I said shaking my head.

“Jayden only brought you to that dance to make me jealous”, she said smugly.

“Apparently it’s working”, I said starting to walk away.

“You’ll never have him you know”, she called after me.

“Whatever Cruela DeVil”, I said heading back inside.

“Bring it on”, she said heading inside and followed me over to the table.

“Hey girls”, Erick said as we rejoined the group.

“Hey guys I’ve missed you guys we should hang out more often”, she said then went over to Jay and smashed her lips against his.

“Whoa”, one of Jayden’s friends said and I had to agree. Today was going to be exciting.
