Just Go With It Chapter 12

Jay’s POV

I was in the middle of my business with Trina when I heard a knock on the door. “Don’t answer it”, she whined.

“I have to”, I said putting my pants back on and went to answer it, “what do you want?”

“It’s your mate”, one of my pack members said.

“What about her?” I demanded.

“Well the boy is watching sports in their room and yelling at anyone who gets close and she’s drinking and dancing”, he said awkwardly.

“Where is she?” I sighed.

“The bar downstairs”, he said stepping back and I walked downstairs temper flaring up.

“Hey”, Trina called. I got down to the bar and spotted her on the dance floor with a beer bottle in one hand and dancing with one of the younger wolves. I went over and pulled her away from him violently and carried out of the bar.

“Hey”, she said pissed off.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing?” I growled grabbing her beer bottle.

“Acting my age”, she said getting down onto her feet.

“You don’t let other men touch you”, I said sniffing the beer bottle, “this isn’t beer it’s whiskey”.

“What a revelation”, she said hatefully.

“Come on”, I said pulling her towards the stairs.

“Let me go”, she said trying to break free.

“You’re mine”, I said picking her up and carrying up to a spare bedroom, “got it”.

“I said let me go”, she snapped. I threw her onto the bed and got on top of her before she could stop me. I kissed her and showed her that was mine and when she finally passed out I just laid there holding her. I knew the risks that came with having Raven here but every day I’d been without her felt like a millennium. The fact that she’d given me a son and legitimate heir helped my reasoning. I couldn’t be as cold to her as I was to everyone else. I tried but being close to her made me feel like the old me. She’d get over her ways though in time and then I would have her then again I wasn’t sure if I’d want her then. Shut up, I told myself, I should leave right now before she awakes up. “You’re probably right”, she said and I looked over to see her sitting up, “your girl is waiting for you”.

“Rave”, I started to say then shut myself up before I said something stupid.

“That’s what I thought”, she said walking out and headed upstairs, “Skyler I told you not to leave the room”.

“Mommy”, he said as she picked him up.

“Focus on your duties Raven and stop trying to reveal me”, I said sternly.

“You’re not worth the effort”, she said going upstairs and out of view. I went back up to my room where Katrina was waiting with Lydia by her side.

“Now where were we?” I said climbing back onto the bed.

Raven’s POV

I got back up to our room and Skyler and I took a long nap and when we woke up it was seven in the morning. He took a longer nap and I watched the soccer game on the TV and found a number for room service. “Hello”, the lady said.

“Hi is this room service?” I asked hopefully.

“Yes Miss. Williams”, she said.

“Good can I get a bowl of strawberries, some berry crepes and some mango apple sauce”, I listed off for her.

“It’ll be up in less then thirty minutes”, she sighed.

“Thank you”, I said then hung up and flopped back onto the bed. At the twenty minute mark there was light knocking on the door and I went and answered it.

“Hello Raven”, the young man said passing me the tray with good on it and two cups of orange juice.

“Thanks”, I said then he started to leave, “wait is there any chance you can get me something else?”

“Depends on what it is miss”, he said unsure.

“I just need a pair of jeans and a T-shirt and something for a baby boy to wear”, I explained.

“Okay”, he nodded then left.

“Thanks yet again”, I said closing the door.

“Morning mom”, Skyler said hugging my leg.

“Hey buddy come on I got you apple sauce and some orange juice”, I said putting the tray on the bed and we started eating. He enjoyed his food and so did I. Once we were done there was another light knock on the door and I answered it. The guy handed me a pile of clothes then left.

“Thank you so much”, I called after him then went back into the room and found some baby boy clothes and lots of jeans and T-shirts. I dressed him up in some blue stretchy jeans and a green sports shirt. I put on a dark gray T-shirt and some blue skinny jeans. I finally found a hair tie after twenty minutes of searching and pulled my hair back into a loose bun.

“Mom you’re you again”, Sky smiled widely.

“Yes I am little man”, I said picking him up and flopped us both onto the bed and he laughed. We watched the game and did my nails painting them dark red and Sky bounced my bun around having a blast doing it.

“Raven”, Kevin said walking in and slamming the door.

“What?” I asked looking up.

“Where should I begin maybe last night or with the food or the clothes?” he said angrily.

“Skyler needed clothes and food”, I said looking back at the TV.

“He was supposed to eat with the other kids and you were supposed to eat with us and you were supposed to wear the clothes I sent you”, he said pulling me out into the hallway and across the hall.

“First off the clothes you sent me were completely slutty, second that’s why I went to the bar last night and third how was I supposed to know I was eating with you and your sluts no one ever told me”, I said, “I’m not a mind reader you know”.

“You do what I say and nothing else”, he said.

“I have to take care of Skyler”, I said seriously.

“I’ll have a nurse take care of him I’m not letting you out of my sight for the next little while”, he said coming up and kissing me. I didn’t react fast enough so he slipped his hand up my back and pulled me to him and I still didn’t kiss him back.

“I wanted to go to that concert with you”, he whispered kissing me down my neck.

“Really”, I said surprised. He nodded and I finally kissed him back and he smiled a little. I knew he was lying about the concert but I needed him so much I couldn’t stop myself. I was seriously screwed up.
