Just Go With It Chapter 10

Raven’s POV

Jayden saw the pup the moment I did and I raced over to protect him. I got in front of him and didn’t let him pass me. Suddenly one of his pack mates ripped me away and Jay went in to kill Skyler. He was going to kill my life source and I couldn’t get to him in time. He was about to go in for the kill then he saw his eyes were the same as my baby pup’s eyes. He looked over at me and I watched Skyler closely. Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant? He demanded walking over to where I was.

Because it’s not your concern anymore, I replied.

You are my concern, he said picking up Skyler and started walking away, follow me.

Let him go, I growled.

Mom it hurts, Skyler thought. I tried to pull Skyler away from Jayden but he just started running.

Let him go, I ordered.

I said to follow me, he commanded. I followed closely I won’t let him take my baby away from me. He went into the woods and changed back into his human form and put on some jeans. “Change back”, he said evenly as Skyler switched back.

I don’t have any clothes, I reminded him. He tossed me a shirt and I changed back behind a tree and put the huge T-shirt covering myself up. “Alright what do you really want?” I said walking out from behind the tree.

“Already told you”, he said picking Skyler up.

“What do you want the pack, our territory or what?” I said seriously.

“It’s not your territory anymore you’re my mate you belong in our territory”, he said coolly.

“Hand him over and get out of here”, I said pulling Skyler away.

“He’s my son Raven you can’t keep him away from me”, he said trying to grab him.

“Legally I can”, I said wrapped his blanket around him.

“Legally you’re both my property”, he said pulling me in close to him, “but you already know that”.

“Get a grip”, I said pushing him away from me.

“Come on Rave”, he said ripping Skyler away from me, “follow the baby”.

“Leave him alone”, I said following him.

“Get in the car”, he said putting the baby in the backseat.

“No”, I said evenly.

“Either get in the car or I take him away with me alone”, he threatened.

“I hate you”, I said climbing into the backseat seeing Skyler sitting on the floor. He pushed me down onto the seat and got in top of me.

“Careful sweetheart we could have another”, he said sliding his hand up my thigh.

“Eat dirt”, I hissed. He slid it farther up and then kissed me and I tried so hard to ignore the feelings but the wolf in me needed him. I kissed him back and he kissed me hungrily. “Stop”, I said once I’d regained my self control.

“Fine but you kissed me back”, he said kissing me again and then got off me, “watch your feet”. I pulled my feet in and curled up in a ball. He got into the driver’s seat and started driving while I pulled Skyler up onto me and he sat on me.

“Mom where’s the sky?” he asked sweetly.

“Far away”, I said playing with his tiny hands.

“Will it come back?” he asked worried.

“It’s right here Sky”, I said tapping him on the nose.

“You named him Sky”, Jayden asked.

“Skyler”, I said automatically.

“Who is that mom?” Skyler asked confused.

“Someone I used to know”, I said absentmindedly.

“I’m your dad kiddo”, Jayden announced.

“He’s mean he hurt me”, he said hugging me. I hugged him back and shot Jayden a glare which he returned.

“He won’t be doing it again anytime soon”, I promised him.

“I thought Erick was my dad he’s nice and he plays rocket ship with me”, he asked with a puzzled look on his small face.

“He’s just a friend”, I told him.

“Please feel free to explain the term friends with benefits”, Jay said sourly.

“Quiet”, I said annoyed.

“Don’t tell me what to do”, he said angrily, “you’ve been quite busy since I left”.

“What exactly were you expecting?” I said annoyed, “to show up, kidnap me and take me back to your pack like nothing happened”.

“I expected you to wait for me not shake up with Erick and raise our child together”, he snapped.

“You have thought through your plan before you left”, I said seriously.

“You shouldn’t have cheated on me are you sleeping with him?” he said pissed off.

“Of course not”, I said.

“Has he marked you?” he asked.

“No he hasn’t I’m not nearly that lucky”, I said rolling my eyes.

“What?” he said stomping on the brake. I held onto Skyler and stopped myself from falling onto the floor. “Get out of the car”, he growled. I sat Skyler down on the floor and got out of the car and followed him out to the woods. “If you ever say that again I will have to hurt you”, he said in an inhuman voice.

“Whatever”, I said shaking my head.

“Alright have it your way?” he said taking his jeans off and came over to me.

“What are you doing?” I asked stopping him from touching me.

“Taking what’s mine”, he said pulling off my shirt and came dwon on me.

“Jayden don’t”, I said stepping back and covering myself up with my hands.

“Shh sweetheart”, he said shoving roughly up against me and I covered my mouth, “that’s right”. He pulled me down onto the grass and kept pushing up against me and it hurt so much I actually cried. “Enjoy it love”, he whispered coming down and sucking on my bite mark. I tried to hide it but a moan escaped and he took that as permission to continue.

“Stop”, I said pushing him away.

“No you’re mine no one else’s now say it”, he hissed.

“No”, I said shaking my head rapidly.

“Say it”, he said pushing down hard and I gasped.

“No”, I repeated. He kissed me and I bit his lip.

“What was that?” he said looking into my eyes. Those green eyes they were the same eyes but they seemed so different now. They were cold like ice but wait there was something there under the surface. Was the real Jayden still in there? The Jayden who I’d been in love with since that dance. It was too big of a chance to take I couldn’t leave him if there was a chance of getting him back.

“I’m yours”, I said seriously. I’d let him win this one but I was getting Jayden back somehow.
