Just Go With It Chapter 11

Raven’s POV

The rest of the ride was quiet and I spent most of it playing peek a boo with Skyler who found it the funniest thing he’d ever seen. He laughed and clapped when I reappeared. “Alright Skyler you should know by now that your mother is underneath those hands why do you freak out every time?” Jay said annoyed.

“Because she keeps hiding then coming back”, he said excitedly, “do it again mom please?”

“Peek”, I said hiding my face then jumped up, “a boo”. He hopped back and then laughed and clapped.

“Mommy you’re a magician”, he said hopping up and down.

“Alright time for you to calm down and take a nap”, I said kissing him on the cheek.

“Are you safe?” he asked hugging me.

“I’m not going anywhere honey just sleep”, I said kissing him on the nose then he curled up beside me and fell asleep.

“We’re here”, Jayden said soberly.

“Fine”, I said wrapping the blanket tightly around Jayden and pulled my shirt down before getting out of the car.

“You and Skyler share a room none of the girls here want to take care of our kid”, he said getting out.

“So it’s like with lions”, I said walking past him and headed inside. It was a palace the size of my town and I knew it used to belong to the werewolf royals but they were obviously kicked out. People pointed out directions and eventually I found our room and I tucked him into the bed and went to take a shower. I had a major league headache and I needed to relax a little. I felt my leg vibrate and I looked down to see my phone on its band. “Hello”, I said answering it.

“Rave, are you okay?” Erick asked relieved.

“I’m fine so is Skyler”, I assured him.

“Thank god where are you we’ll come and get you”, he asked.

“No not yet”, I said quickly.

“What?” he said confused.

“Erick you know I care about you but with Jayden it’s different he’s still in there and I can’t give up on him”, I explained.

“He’ll hurt you and Skyler it’s too big of a risk what if you’re wrong”, he said and I didn’t answer, “That’s what I thought now end this and tell us where you are”.

“I can’t Erick”, I said shaking my head.

“Rave don’t give up your life for him we need you here”, he begged.

“I’m sorry”, I said then hung up before he could speak. I collapsed onto the floor and started crying again. I felt a warm presence next to me and I curled up with Skyler on the floor.

“I love you mommy”, he whispered.

“Love you too Sky”, I said then closed my eyes and fell asleep. I was in the middle of a really good dream when I felt someone kick me.

“Hey wake up”, Jayden said kicking me again. I opened my eyes and sat up.

“What?” I asked rubbing my eyes.

“Why are you two sleeping on the bathroom floor when there’s a perfectly good bed?” he asked.

“I fell asleep and he hates being alone when he’s sleeping”, I said picking him up and took him into the bed and laid him down on the blanket.

“Where did you get that?” he said bringing out my phone from the floor.

“Erick says hi”, I said heading for the door. Suddenly I was slammed into the wall really hard if I was a human the hit would have most likely broken my spine or something.
