Just Go With It Chapter 7

Raven’s POV

We got to the clearing at eight o’clock exactly and I went over to sit on the grass with the other girls. “Hey Rave”, Lily smiled, “nice outfit”.

“You too is that a designer dress?” I teased.

“Shut up”, she said nudging me playfully.

“Think it’s going to rain”, Reese asked.

“It will never rain on a Taylor Lautner night”, I said boldly.

“All hail Taylor Lautner”, Emily said passing us each a shot of spirits.

“To Taylor Lautner shirtless”, I said raising my shot. They tapped theirs to mine and then we drank them. It burned my mouth at first but the after taste was better.

“You know after tonight we might have to stop going to see Taylor Lautner and swooning”, Reese said passing out pieces of licorice.

“No”, I said shaking my head, “I’ll never give up Taylor”.

“You’re so sure”, Lily said nibbling her licorice stick.

“I like Taylor he’s really hot”, I shrugged.

“I want to meet him”, Emily agreed.

“I want his autograph, his phone number, his e-mail and his hand in marriage”, Lily sighed happily.

You’ve had one shot too many, girl”, Reese laughed.

“I only had one”, she said confused.

“One more than you should have”, I laughed and then looked up as the clouds parted, “it’s time”.

“Alright I’m going for a walk”, I said standing up and going into the forest. What can I say, I’m a wimp and I’m nervous about meeting my mate. I walked around for awhile trying to build up my courage.

“Hey Rave you going to walk forever”, Jayden said running to catch up with me.

“Now I was going to stop within the next mile”, I said going over and leaning against the nearest tree.

“You make mates out to be such a bad thing”, he laughed walking over.

“I don’t know it just seems like it’s just the moon playing tricks on us”, I said with a small smile playing on my lips.

“The moon only shows us the truth it was always that way it just becomes obvious”, he said quoting his father.

“I guess you’re right”, I sighed.

“Rave”, he said touching my arm and I felt sparks run up my arm and throughout my entire body.

“Yes”, I said trying to focus. He leaned in close and my heart started racing.

“Do you want to?” he said softly. I nodded and his lips claimed mine before I could speak again. I kissed him back and he pushed me up against the tree and kissed me down my neck and pushed us back against the tree. I pushed away a bit and we fell forwards and he looked up at me. He slipped my dress off and I undid his zipper and slipped his cutoffs. He pressed my body to his and they fit together perfectly. He slid his hand up my thigh and farther up and I smiled. He slid his arm up my back and undid my bra. The rest of our clothes came off and we started to actually move together. He bit into the base of my neck and I moaned and he licked it clean then started kissing me again. Eventually I closed my eyes.

“Goodnight Jay”, I whispered.

“Goodnight Rave”, he said wrapping his arm around me and I fell asleep.

I opened my eyes slowly the next morning with snow surrounding us but I wasn’t cold because there were warm arms around me. I looked up at Jay’s peaceful face and I smiled a little and cuddled up close to him. “Morning”, he yawned.

“Morning”, I said sitting up.

“So last night”, he said wrapping his arms around me.

“Guess we should have seen that coming huh”, I said grabbing my clothes.

“Yeah”, he laughed.

“Well I’m getting dressed”, I said going behind the tree.

“Be back soon”, he warned. I started getting dressed and then I noticed something on my left shoulder. It was an alpha mark but that made no sense. Erick was the next alpha Jay was a year younger than him. I checked again and it was still there. I put my dress back on and went out to ask Jayden what was going on.

“Jayden is there something you need to tell me”, I said seriously.

“What?” he said looking up at me, “what’s wrong?”

“I thought Erick was next in line to be the alpha”, I said crossing my arms.

“He is what is your point?” he said standing up.

“How did this get here then?” I said showing him the mark on my shoulder.

“What the hell”, he said checking it out, “that’s an alpha’s mark I don’t understand”.

“You don’t know”, I said confused.

“We should get home”, he said taking my hand and I felt sparks run through me and we practically ran the whole way back to his place. “Erick”, he called and Erick came running down the stairs.

“What do you need little brother?” he asked looking at me and winking.

“What the hell kind of game are you playing?” he said letting go of me and got right up in Erick’s face.

“What kind of game?” he said eyebrows raised.

“Last night”, I said soberly, “what did you do?”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about boy”, he laughed without humor.

“You know exactly what you did”, Jay said angrily.

“Actually I don’t”, he said casually, “what didn’t you find your mate?”

“I did”, Jayden said seriously, “and if you touch her again I’ll make you wish you were dead”.

“Relax little brother”, he said pushing him back and grabbed my arm then saw the tattoo, “you marked her”.

“You know what’s going on”, I said confused. Suddenly Jayden slugged and they started wrestling on the floor.

“What is going on?” Gabriella said running in.

“Why do I have a mark?” I asked seriously.

“You’re Jayden’s mate”, she said surprised.

“Yeah why do I have an alpha’s mark on me”, I demanded.

“Because you’re an alpha’s mate”, she announced.

“What?” both boys said standing up.

“Jayden, you’re adopted”, she said.
