Final Hour (NateWantsToBattle & MatPat)

I couldn't actually believe what I was looking at.

"What happened?" I ask him, trying to wipe it off. It wouldn't come off.

"I don't know.." He sighed. "I walked in here. a-and it felt like fire.. it burned.. It still does."

I sigh, looking up. "Well, Mabe we can get it off." I say.

He looked at me, then sighed, "tried. Doesn't work."

"Let's give it some time. Right now, we should clean up that cut." I say, pulling him up.

"I'll do it." He sighed, moving his hair away from his eyes. I watched him leave the room, then left, walking back into the main room.

This is getting weird.. First Stephanie went missing, then Nate comes here, claiming his girlfriend went missing, and he's being attacked. His editor Brett is missing and theres someone after Nate at the moment, and now Nate's looking like... the puppet from Five Nights. There's something super strange going on, and I want to know what is going on, even if it kills me.

Nate cut my thoughts off by walking into the main room, looking me over. He almost scared me.. I don't understand what has happened to him. I want to know why they are going after him. Why not me? I'd rather this torture happen to me, than to him.

He looked down, then back up at me. Sitting down at the bar stool, I watched him, look over his arm, then back to me. "What do we do Matthew?" He asked quietly.

"Like you said before. It's survival. we're the only ones left. It's war." I say.

He looked it over, then sighed.

"What's it gonna take to win this?" I ask him. "What will we do?"

Nate looked at me, before taking his glasses off, only to clean them and put them back on.

"We need to be prepared." He said to me, looking at Skip then back to me.

"How?" I ask.

"Dunno." He answered. "But we can't show them we can lose, we need to be strong." He said. "We can't die in our Final Hours."

We were silent for a moment, looking at each other.

"OK." I answer. "We will make our Final Hours last."
