"Wait.." I start, looking him over.. "Morgan's.. But."

He was silent.. Staring at the paper in my hand.

"But she, I.. What?" He blinked. "Why wouldn't she tell me?"

"Nate.." I start quietly.

"I just.." He stumbled a little sitting on the bed behind him.

"Breathe, Nate. Take a breather.."

He closed his eyes for a second, then opened them again. "I've screwed up." He sighed. "I let them take her.. I let her go.."

"Hey," I start. "We'll find them. I promise you."

He looked at me for a moment. He looked down at the paper, then sighed.

"Whoever took her will pay." He said, narrowing his eyes. A look flashed in his eyes. A look that I have never seen. Almost like something inside him snapped.

"Nate, you're going to say no, but I think you should get some sleep.. You should really sleep, and process this new information." I say to him.

"Sure." He sighed. "If ya think it'll be better."

"I think it will."

He was silent for a moment, looking at his bed.

"I can't." He told me. "There's still to much unanswered.

It's too late now. I can barely keep my eyes open. Nate thankfully crashed on one of the couches in the living room.

It's now or never. With our current situation, we have nothing. Nothing, and so little time to do anything. But we will survive. We will, and we will find Stephanie and Morgan.. and everyone else.

Well, I will fight for them.. Even if it kills me.. I will fight for Steph, I will fight for Morgan.. I'll even fight for Nate. I will fight for as long as he needs me to. If I die defending him, so be it.  I'm not letting him go first..

My thoughts were snapped when Nate suddenly startled himself away, looking around in a panic.

"What's happened?" He asked in a panic, his eyes searching the room.

"Nothing at the moment, Nate." I answer him quietly, looking over to him.

He took a deep breath, running his hand through his knotted hair. "Wait.." He sighed.

"So it wasn't a dream?" He asked me.

"What was a dream?" I ask.

"The girls going missing. Everything turning to shit?"

"Sadly, no Nate. It's not a dream. It's actually happening." I say.

He looked at me, still breathing heavily.

"Shit." He sighed, looking down, moving his hair again. "I'm going back to sleep. It's not as horrifying as the real world."

He didn't even say anything after that, before closing his eyes again. I watched him twitch, then remain still. Something about the way he settled back down, concerned me, but maybe he was just relaxed for once...

I hope everything is better soon.
