Fire Drake above 

Luke POV

I woke up first since I couldn't sleep knowing we had an enemy with us so I stayed up and watched the so called Echo.I walked over to where Echo was only to see a Fire Drake in front of her so naturally I hid and eavesdropped "Thank you for um,stalling" the Fire Drake said looking at Echo seeming unsure or skeptical about something "No problem,we need to stick together don't we" Echo responded with a small smile until it faded away into a frown "So we almost have the same problem then huh Drake" she looked sad or even devastated "Yeah,terrible world we live in right" Drake said nodding his head,I was going to walk back to the camp,but I stepped on a branch breaking it "Luke come here" I heard Drake's commanding voice so I stepped back and walked up to the two "How much did you hear" Echo asked with a commanding look on her face like Drake but Drake was a Fire Drake so meh "I heard  the whole conversation,and Drake why are you well a Fire Drake" I said while trying to change the topic "Oh,I needed a little more power so I changed forms I can change back now though" Drake replied with almost no emotions which is weird for him in many ways but I didn't question him,I only nodded and walked to my sleeping bag and that was it.

~Timeskip until everyone is awake~

I woke up to see Drake with a black cloak sitting on top of a tree reading a map and of course everyone was awake before me "Wake up sleepyhead" I heard Grayson say while packing his stuff up and shaking me with his foot "Five more minutes" I replied and closed my eyes again but as soon as I said that everyone got quiet and so I thought everyone left me so I sat up and saw Grayson on my sleeping bag with his knees and hands on the ground holding my sleeping bag down,but the embarrassing part was that our faces were so close to each other that I could feel his breath.

Grayson POV

I didn't think this out but I have to admit he is kinda cute,wait NO STOP GRAYSON GET THAT OUT OF YOUR HEAD,hmm but I have to admit this is uncomfortably close "Are you guys going to kiss or not" Mia said startling me from my thinking making me lose balance AND kiss Luke,we immediately broke apart but I could see Drake's little group AKA Armen,Collin,and himself were mumbling about how they wished that they could capture that moment forever or something like that  "I didn't think you would actually do it Grayson" Mia said looking intensely at me "Mia lets be honest,none of us knew Grayson was gay" Flare said giving me a mean and scary look "H-hey I am not" I protested while taking out a map to keep me distracted "Now Grayson, it's bad to lie" Maria stated while shaking her head in disappointment "Guys hurry up with that we should get to the dragon hatchery" Drake said stopping us all any further from speaking "But we cant go,we'd all die from attacks" Sammy responded looking confused "Wait don't tell me you lied to us" I know Sammy deeply trusts Drake but still,knowing your friends lie to you and not knowing the reason "I only needed to get Echo back" Drake mumbled before turning around and summoning the dragon hatchery map,wait,oh right I gave the map to Drake "Hmm this will be quite a long travel" Drake stated looking at the map then the map disappeared "Where do we need to go" I asked curious to hearing whats so far away "Well it's in the dead lands" Drake started to explain "Well the dead lands is actually called" he paused,PAUSED WHY "The Forgotten Tears" once those words were spoken Maria and Sammy's happy and funny expressions became ones with regret and sadness "Drake we cant go back there" Maria said seriously,looking at Sammy for back up "Yeah,Drake we'll be killed" Sammy said making me all the more confused "Can you explain why you'd be killed" Collin spoke looking at Drake,er well,Drake's hooded face.

Drake POV

How do I explain now? I don't know the truth idiot Hero shut up I don't need your sass right now Well you certainly need an attitude change no I don't Wait don't tell me I'm getting to you no...I AM AREN'T I "SHUT UP" I shouted out loud Well you sure messed that up didn't you stop You cant do anything right leave me alone Fine but you will be MY puppet to control sooner or later "-ake are you ok" Armen said poking my arm making me look at him which was a big mistake "Drake...what happened to your eye" Armen took a step back not in fear but shock "You might want to sit down,this will be a long explanation" Echo said as she walked forward "WHY WOULD WE LISTEN TO YOU" Flare shouted pointing at Echo "Just sit down" I said,I was already annoyed because of Hero do they really need to be like that,but anyway everyone sat down "So I might as well start from the beginning" I sighed looking at everybody else "So you remember when I gave my old body up right" I asked quietly but still loud enough that my friends could hear me,they all nodded "Giving that body away doesn't mean I lose everything in that body,I still have Hero's will inside me along with whoever wrote that diary" I explained to them hoping they wouldn't talk about it further and they didn't they only nodded making me sigh in relief "But your eyes aren't the same" Armen pointed out,I wish he hadn't "Leave it be,Puppet" Echo said with her arms crossed knowing that calling people by their prophecies anger them "What did you just call me" Armen said in a low voice looking at Echo "She called you by your prophecy Armen calm down,and Echo don't do that to him" I explained to Armen and scolded Echo "Fine,mom" Echo said with sass "I am not your mom" I answered glaring at her playfully "Fine fine whatever you say,mom" Echo continued calling me mom I was about to answer back until everyone burst out laughing and soon did Echo and I join in.

At least they believed my lie.
