Suspicious

Liam's P.O.V

"Kim wake up" Liam tapped my shoulder repeatedly until I opened up my eyes. I looked around the car and realised that we were pulling up to the drive way. "We're home" I stretched my arms.

"Mmm home sweet home"

We got out of the car and I waited patiently for Liam to bring our suitcases to the front door, before he brought his keys to the door he smiled. 

"Oh I've arranged a little surprise for you too babe, you know, just to finally get things back on track"

"Aw what is it?" Liam laughed and opened up the front door where I saw Josh and Bella standing in front of us, Josh held up a large bouquet of roses and I laughed.

"Welcome home!" They said in unison

"Aw thank you!" 

"How was Atlanta bro?" Josh asked, Liam nodded.

"Yeah it was good, but training was tough - getting back into the form I was in is proving to be quite difficult"

"You'll get there babe" I reassured before hauling our stuff into the house. Alexandro helped me with the luggage up the stairs and once we were in my bedroom I gave him a tight hug. 

"Kimmy dear how was the break then? Did you and Liam enjoy it?" Alexandro was more than just a butler to me and Liam, he was family - sort of like a really young, cool and sympathetic grandfather figure. He had always been there for me and Liam and we see him nearly every day so as you can presume we were quite close. 

"Yeah it was so good thank you, I think it did a world of good for me and Liam too I don't know why but it seemed we really needed to get away from here"

"I'm very glad to hear that Kimmy, and it's a good thing that everythings back to normal too because Aaron has been none stop calling here about modelling jobs"

"Oh...? Well I guess I can start easing myself back into the modelling world"

"Good...now Josh and Bella had arrangd a spread for you and Liam; it's all set up downstairs" I nodded

"Ok I'll be right down"

Just before Alexandro walked out of the door he paused and turned around to face me with concern. 

"Oh...and Kimmy can I just say something?"

"Of course, what is it?"

"Erm...I really hate to perhaps throw things off course again but all morning Josh's friend Bella..." I folded my arms 

"Yeah? What about her? What has she done?"

"Nothing major...it's just that she appears to me as a rather nosey character"

"What makes you say that?"

"Well when Josh had left to buy some of the ingrediants I arrived here and I found her snooping...in your bedroom...and then she didn't hesitate to look around in pretty much every corner of the house" I shook my head.

"Gosh...why would she do that?"

"I'm not sure, I just thought it best that I told you"

"Oh yes, thank you for telling me Alexandro - I'm sure it's nothing"

I wasn't 100% over Josh's behavour the last time I saw him so I tried to avoid eye contact as much as possible, and hearing about what Bella had been up to behind our backs made me feel even more uncomfortable in my own home. 

"You alright babe?" Liam made me jump as he placed his hand on mine on the island. I immediately forced a fake smile.

"Oh...yeah sure sorry"

"You were just lost in your own world!" Bella commented, they all gave a light laugh. I sniffed sharply as I set my knife and fork down and leaned back in my chair. 

"So Bella....I hear you had a nice little look around the house earlier" Bella looked up at me in a startled manner. 

"O-Oh I was just-"

"Just what?" Liam put down his wine glass abruptly. 

"What was that?" Bella looked across at Josh and laughed hesitantly.

"No, well, basically I was just m-making sure things were safe"

"Safe?"

"Yes, b-because Josh was telling me how you and Liam are trying for a baby so...I just wanted to make sure the place is safe for their upbringing" I screeched my chair.

"Excuse me? Josh told you?"

"Who do you think you are checking if our apartment is safe for a child!" Liam said. "It's none of your business!"

"No Liam you don't understand; Bella is a nursery worker so you see it's kinda her occupational hazard" Josh said giving a little laugh to try and break the tension but to his dismay Liam hurriedly left the room, he sprinted up the stairs followed by a door slam. 

"I'm going to go after him" I stood up straight and sighed. "Don't leave the table" I ordered. 

I opened up the bedroom door to see Liam out on the balcony, leaning over the balcony. He was looking down at his dad's necklace and I could tell he was pretty upset.

"Liam?" I pulled across the screen door and stepped onto the deck. I inhaled deeply. "You know the doctor told you not to put too much pressure on your leg just yet Liam, so sprinting up the stairs like that-"

"Kim...stop" Liam said. I nodded. Liam took my hand and lead me over to the sunbeds. "Alright Kim, I believe you now"

"Believe me now?"

"With all this S-Selena stuff" Just her name sent shivers down Liam spine. "Somethings up"

"How do you mean?"

"There's something fishy with Bella"

"Oh...I know...I don't trust her at all"

"But the thing is all these moods aren't helping; we've got to be clever about this"

"Ah, I see where you're going with this"

"That's right Kim, we're going to do something about this situation - and we're going to be smart about it too"

"Ok? So what are we going to do?"

"I don't know just yet...but we're going to have to think of something so sneaky that we expose the truth to Josh" Liam stood up. "Are you with me?"

"I always was" I said smiling and standing up in front of him. "Love you"

"Love you more"

"Forever and always?"

"Forever and always" I laughed and hugged him tightly. "Now we just gotta think of a plan"
