"Are there anymore bags upstairs?" the man asked me. I nodded and led him to my room where the last suitcase was sitting.

He grabbed it and went back down. I stared at my bare walls. There was nothing left for me here.

I walked out of my room locking the white door from behind and headed outside to my black truck. I couldn't afford a plane ticket and I didn't want to burden my new guardians on the first day so I'd be following the moving truck with my luggage all the way to Chicago.

The drive was long but when I reached I was greeted with a decent looking home and a huge driveway.

Of course these people were going to be rich. I rolled my eyes as I stepped out of my truck.

A middle aged women who looked rather well for someone who had four kids came rushing out the front door smiling.

She ran to me and crushed me with a death hug. She let go of me but rested her to hands on my arms.

Her smile grew bigger as she stared at me. I returned it with a small one feeling a bit uncomfortable. "Hi Mrs. Jones" I murmured.

She ignored my hello and beamed "You look just like your mother!"

I looked down and smiled. "Yeah"

She let go of me and glanced to where the large bulky men were carrying all my stuff to my new home. "Oh I'm being so rude!" She said looking back at me. "Let's not be formal and all but call me Ann"

I looked up at her and chuckled. "Ok. Hello Ann"

Her smile grew bigger if that was even possible and she grabbed my hand and dragged me to the front door. "C'mon everyone's inside eager to meet you. Let's not keep them waiting"

I allowed her to take me away. She was very different from all my friends parents I've met. She was more energetic and happier it seemed. With our five minute introduction I could tell she was, well what do they call it, a "cool mom." I cringed at my own thought of those words. They sounded so strange but were true nonetheless.

She took me inside and I was greeted with a double staircase that disappeared into the sides of the walls. We walked in between the stairs and entered the living room that was placed in the middle.

I was so engrossed by how magnificent and luxurious their house was that I hadn't noticed Ann stopped walking and ran right into her.

I grabbed her shoulder to steady myself "Sorry" I muttered embarrassed for my clumsiness.

She smiled "No worries"

I refocused my attention at where she was looking and noticed four guys sitting on a leather couch with a girl in the middle of them. I suddenly felt uncomfortable and self conscious and all five of them were staring at me.

Ann's husband to what I assumed got up from the sofa and walked over to me. He had a few gray hairs here and there but it was mostly dark brown. He just like Ann did not look that old. In fact now that I think about it the two look like they're in there early 40's. I expected him to give me a handshake so I extended my arm out but he engulfed me in a hug. These people were really touchy.

He let go of me and hugged me by the side while facing in the direction of what I presumed their four kids.

"My names Mr. Jones but please call me Rob" he said in a formal matter. He pointed to the four kids sitting on the couch "and these are our children"

I stared at the three beautiful boys sitting in front of me in there glory. They were so majestic, like a Greek god. The first boy who looked like the youngest finally rose from his seat and walked up to me. He extended his arm for me to shake. "Hi. I'm Chase" he said in the smoothest most sexiest voice I've ever heard.

I took his hand and shook it softly making sure not to damage his beauty.  "Lenox" I said.

He smiled with his pearly white teeth. "Nice to meet you Lenox." I gave a small smile back, drooling over his god like features. He turned to look at Rob who was thankfully not touching me anymore. "Hey dad I'm going to a friends house"

Rob just nodded his head. "Make sure to tell your mom wherever she went off to."

I looked around the room and noticed that she wasn't there anymore.

Chase nodded his head and walked out not before Rob got his last sentence in "You better be back by 5 we're having a family dinner at 6!" he shouted

Chase walked away and when I looked back at the couch the rest of the godlike sons were no where to be found. How do they just disappear so quietly. The daughter however gave me a look. It was a dirty look. A look of "I'm better than you" a look that I knew would not be good in the future.

I gave her wave. "Hi I'm Lenox"

She rolled her eyes and got up from the couch. Instead of greeting me like a decent human she shoved past me making sure that her little shoulder shove would intentionally hurt later.

As someone who was weak I knew I would have a blue bruise by tomorrow morning. I looked up at Rob who looked apologetic. "Sorry about Cameron. Shes not really happy with the new arrangements, but she'll come around." he tried reassuring me.

He gave me a small "fatherly" pat on the back. "C'mon I'll take you to your room and don't worry about Ryan and Nick they've been antsy to get out of the house so when you arrived that was their ticket out"

I shook my head and followed him as we walked up the huge staircase. We took the left staircase and turned left. We kept walking through a long corridor until we took a right and reached a white door.

My mouth dropped as I saw what my room looked like. The bedroom was placed next the glass door. I had my own little porch to walk out and I got the view of their massive yard and the trees with freshly coated snow drizzled on the top. There was a small black sofa that sat directly in front of my bed. For someone who lived in a small three bedroom home this was an upgrade.

"I'm assuming you like it" Robs voice came from behind me

I just nodded my head unable to form any words. He chuckled "Alright well your luggage is resting near the closet so just settle down and then come down for lunch. You must be hungry"

He left the room closing the door behind him and I immediately jumped on my bed. I grabbed the purple pillow beside me and screamed into it. I could definitely get use to this life.
