"Where are you thinking?" He asked me

"Hmm" I tapped my chin thinking what I was in the mood for. "How about Chinese. You can never go wrong with Chinese food"

He nodded his head and smiled. We both got up from my bed and headed downstairs.

"I'm just gonna grab some water." Nick told me.

I followed him into the kitchen where we ran into Ann and to my surprise Drew and his parents.

They all turned to look at us and Nick casually went to grab a water bottle from the fridge not thinking much about the situation.

"Well hello again!" Mrs. Allen said.

I gave her a small smile and looked at Ann confused.

"I invited them over for dinner and well they just came a little early" Ann explained.

I glanced up at Drew who was staring at Nick but wouldn't dare look at me.

"Where are you guys going?" Ann asked.

Nick opened the water bottle and took a big gulp. He cleared his throat. "We were grabbing lunch if that's ok?"

"Oh yeah thats fine! Why don't you take Drew with you?" Ann said.

Drew's parents nodded in agreement but I really only wanted to have lunch with Nick.

"Actually I'm a bit exhausted from the traveling" Drew cut in.

Nick just shrugged his shoulders. "Well it was nice meeting you guys. We'll see you at dinner"

We walked out and into his car.

*******

I shoved the noodles into my mouth and groaned. They were so good and just so perfect.

Nick laughed. "People are staring"

I swallowed my noodles and looked at him. "What my groans don't turn you on? I'm offended" I said jokingly.

He laughed again and continued at his food. We ate in silence for a bit.

"So I've been meaning to ask you something." He told me clearing his throat. He took a napkin and wiped his mouth then placed his fork on his plate clearly finished with his dish.

I rolled my eyes as I did the same. "I swear if this is about Scott" I trailed on folding my arms over my chest.

"No not about Scott don't worry" he played with the straw in his cup. "The other day. When I bought you to my parents room. You ran after seeing my dads clenched hand." He stopped and glanced up at me before continuing. "I've never seen anyone react like that. You do know he wasn't going to hurt you right?"

I took in what he was saying trying to figure out a lie I could feed him with. I sighed. "Of course I knew that. But I mean have you seen your dad. He looked like a bull charging at me with smoke coming out of his ears. It was terrifying" I told him frankly. I mean it was only a half lie because his dad did look scary.

He nodded his head satisfied. Then a smile formed on his lips. "So Scott?"

I threw my napkin at him and huffed. "You're such an ass I swear" I told him sarcastically.

"Oh come on!" He said pushing.

I shook my head. "It was a one time thing. He's cute and all but I have my eyes on someone else" I couldn't believe I just admitted that to him.

He still had a stupid smile on his face. "Oh I'm sure your eyes were not on someone else last night"

"You little shit!" I said gasping and smiling a little."he did tell you everything didn't he!"
