Ace Chemicals, Arkham City.
July 4, 11:10pm EST.
(Red Hood's POV)
The entirety of Arkham City was above Gotham City hanging from metal extensions from a ship that looked like the Hall of Doom, we had stopped moving but now we hung thousands of feet above Gotham like we were on a piece of string that could break at any moment. The wind was blowing through the buildings and the ground had opened up in places but that wasn't what had our focus,
"what is this?" Flash questions
"a precaution" Batman states
"for the deal?" Robin suggests
"what better way to make sure you get what you want then to raise an entire prison thousands of feet into the air" Red Arrow says
"what the fuck do they have that they need to do this?" I question gesturing around the general area
"what ever it is, it seems to be so important that it's worth mass murder" Batman says
"like any of the people here are worth saving in the first place" I state
"not the point" Robin says
"are we still questioning the Joker?" Catwoman asks
"what else can we do, since we don't know what the Legion is after" Green Arrow says as Batman brings up a holographic map of the island
"from what this map shows, Wonder Tower is the only place not damaged by current events so that would be the most likely place this deal is going down but it would do us good to make sure" Batman explains
"so we are interrogating the Joker?" I question
"we may not need to" Robin states looking down at his Holo-computer with a map of the facility on it but his map is different to Batman's with an added part to it.

The map has the old underground subway tunnels on it but there is what looks like another room in the old station in the centre of the island,
"I scanned the whole island using the Watchtowers scanning configuration and the tunnels came up as a point of interest" Robin explains
"looks like a vaulted room is in the middle of that station" I say
"it's not just that, there is a huge amount of energy being sent to the station" Robin says
"how is Arkham City still getting power if we are thousands of feet above Gotham?" Kid Flash questions
"for lack of a better answer, I'd say the facility has its own power generators" Flash answers
"I see two options, one we go and get answers from Joker or two we go to Wonder Tower and get our answers from the source" Robin says
"well what are we gonna do?" I question as we look to Batman for our way forwards
"lets head to the Tower" Batman says as we head out towards the centre of Arkham City and the confrontation that was surely to come.

Arkham City West Wall.
July 4, 11:15pm EST.
(3rd Person POV)
The shadow figures made had made onto the island before it was ripped from the ground and raised into the air, they now sat on top of a building on the edge of the West Wall of the facility as they looked out over the prison. Parts of the walls that surrounded the facility had started to crumble away as the island was violently moved and it made for a good place fro a group of assassins to lay in wait,
"The Gray Son will be on the move" a figure says
"he must not be harmed, our target is what has been stolen" another figure states
"he will follow Batman into the fray" the figure says
"the Gray Son must survive but nothing was said of Batman and The Red Hood" the other figure says as a light shines down onto the tower in the middle from the ship above
"the deal is beginning" a third figure says
"then we will head out and regain the vial" the first figure says as the figures move out and head towards the tower in the middle of Arkham City.

Wonder Tower, Arkham City.
July 4, 11:20pm
(3rd Person POV)
The ship was now holding Arkham City above Gotham and Hugo Strange was preparing for what was to come, The deal would be complete in a matter of a few minutes and the Light would have access to a new weapon. It had taken careful planning and 100 man to gain the vial they now had locked away, and now all was hanging in the Lights capabilities and their ability to retrieve it. Hugo Strange was going to leave no traces of what took place tonight behind, it would appear as though an enemy of the Justice League had attacked Gotham and a mass breakout had followed in its wake.Emergency Protocol 10 would be activated and the remaining inhabitants of Arkham City would be neutralised with lethal force, Hugo Strange opened up a audio link to all TYGER security units still in the area,
"This is Hugo Strange, Emergency Protocol 10 is to be activated" Hugo Strange announces
"All inmates are to be neutralised" he finishes with ending the audio link as he makes his way over to the windows of Wonder Tower, overlooking his accomplishment before turning and making his way towards the elevator, his job was done and now it was the Lights job to complete the transaction.

Abandoned Subway Station Entrance, Central Arkham City.
July 4, 11:29pm EST
(Kid Flash's POV)
We arrived at the centre of Arkham City just as the helicopters the surrounded it began targeting certain points of the facility and gun fire echoed throughout the area. Batman, Robin and Red Hood were all on their wrist Holo-computers as the rest of us looked around to make sure we wouldn't get attacked,
"guys there's something on local broadcast frequencies" Red Hood says
"what is it?" Red Arrow asks
"let me play it" Red Hood says as he presses play on his Holo-computer
"This is Hugo Strange, Emergency Protocol 10 is to be activated, All inmates are to be neutralised" the audio says
"so Hugo Strange is behind Arkham City" Batman states
"Hugo Strange?" I question
"he used to be a psychiatrist for Arkham Asylum but was fired from his job for controversial experiments with behaviour control" Batman explains
"but was he really fired?" Red Hood questions
"it is odd timing that Quincy Sharp ran for mayor of Gotham and soon after being elected proposed a project to contain all people that were of harm to Gotham's citizens" Robin states
"Mayor Sharp was assassinated not long after Arkham City began construction" Red Hood adds
"but for him alone to plan all this just doesn't add up but that would be where his benefactor comes in" Batman says
"someone with enough money and power to help construct a prison city and potentially kill any loose ends" Robin says typing away on his Holo-computer but a shadow catches my attention as it moves behind the Bats and towards the Tower.

The shadow moved fast and not before long it was gone but as I look towards Uncle Barry and Roy I notice that they saw what I did,
"Bats" Uncle Barry says
"what is it?" Batman questions
"something moved behind you" Uncle Barry says as the Bats turn around to look and then we all see another shadow move but this one has glowing yellow eyes
"you know there's a myth in Gotham" Red Hood says
"more like a nursery rhyme" Robin corrects
"Beware the Court of Owls, that watches all the time, ruling Gotham from a shadow perch, behind granite and lime. They watch you at your hearth, they watch you in your bed, speak not a whispered word of them or they'll send The Talon for your head" Red Hood recounts
"we can't be sure that it's them though" Batman says
"glowing yellow eyes kinda means one thing Batman" Robin says
"but who pissed them off?" Red Hood questions
"this deal did if they are here, what ever is here is threatening their existence" Batman says
"so what do we do?" I ask
"we find what this deal is about before an all out war starts over Gotham City" Batman says
"how do we get into the Tower?" Uncle Barry asks
"the front won't be an option, so we head through the tunnels" Batman says as the Bats make their way to the stairs of the nearby subway station.
