"What happened to your parents?"

Those words repeated themselves in my head until they became nothing but words. I began to feel sluggish and I no longer wanted to be in my wolf form, I let Amythest take complete control and I zoned out. My parent's death was something I had yet to be 100% comfortable about.

When we got back to my house it was late, around 11, Jake asked me if I wanted to hang out with him tomorrow so he could show me around the territory and I accepted. I really looked forward to getting to know him more. The alpha, Jake, and my brother started speaking and I took this opportunity to sneak off to my room.

After about an hour or so later I heard a knock on my door and considering the only people who live in this house are me and my brother, I told him to come in. Jonathan opened the door with a sweet grin and sat next to me on my bed.

I closed my laptop that I totally forgot I had open and turned to face him. "What's up Jonny-O?" I smiled at the nickname I had called him since we were younger while he rolled his eyes. "What do you want to do for your birthday? You know it's in a few days." He asked with a raised eyebrow.

I sighed and fell back on my bed. "I have school work to do Jonny, I don't feel like having a party, especially cause I have no friends." He bit his lip as the words came out of my mouth, something we both did when we were deep in thought.

"I can enroll you in a public school, instead of an online school and you could meet other people. You seemed pretty comfortable with the alphas beta though." He said sending me a wink.

I rolled my eyes. "Shutup. The alpha seems like someone shoved a stick up his ass, he's no fun. Me saying i wanted to go running was not an open invitation for a group run. Enrolling me into public school is the equivalent to enrolling me into hell." I spat, half-joking.

"What's wrong with wanting to get to know your pack? By the way, I told him we would have dinner with the pack leaders tomorrow at the packhouse. Alpha Ashton wants to have me as his co-beta. If I do good then I'll be his 2nd beta with Jake."

I nodded and clapped happily for my brother. He grinned brightly. We had been through so much and he did so well at protecting me and being just an amazing brother.

"Mom and dad would be so proud of you Jonny," I said, smiling and holding back the tears of joy for my brother. He pulled me into his arms and smiled. "I love you, sis." He said, making me scrunch up my nose. "Yeah, yeah, I love you too Jonny-O."

I smiled, hugging him back. He stood up and told me he ordered pizza and that I could come downstairs and watch movies with him while we eat it. In which I nodded and changed into my pajamas and went downstairs, eating my pizza with him. Somewhere in the process of pizza grease and Saw 3, we both fell asleep.

I woke up to the scent of pancakes and bacon. I licked my lips and perked myself up on my knees to see 3 men, who I recognized as alpha Ashton, Jake, and my brother, sitting at the table, devouring their food. Jonny saw me and spoke with a smirk "Good morning sleepy head." I rolled my eyes playfully and stood up, pulling my Nike shorts down my thighs. "I thought we were meeting for dinner," I whispered to my brother when he walked over so I could kiss his cheek. He grinned and shrugged, walking away.

I joined them at the table, giving Jake and alpha Ashton a friendly smile before picking at my food, shoving the fluffy goodness into my mouth. I couldn't help but feel the alpha's eyes on me. Once I swallowed my food I broke the silence of the table "Jake, are we still on for exploring the territory?" He nodded and smiled at me.

Once I finished eating, I went and showered and changed.
