Ashton's POVI sat in my seat, knuckles white, and nails carving into the wood armrest. I heard footsteps approach me but my vision stayed blank. I felt a hand on my shoulder, Jon. "You have to get up man, you've been here for hours." I nodded slightly. "No one has ever spoken to me like that. Ever. No one that has lived to tell the story at least."
I heard him chuckle lightly, but I still didn't move. "Mates make you do crazy things." I sighed and finally relaxed my body, releasing the tension. My firm posture hunched over and I cradled my face in my hands. "Jon, I know she's young and you don't want her to know but it's so hard. I can't be my best Alpha when my own damn Luna doesn't even respect me." I sighed and stood from my chair that I haven't budged from since lunch hours ago. My bones crack at the sudden movement and my muscles silently thank me.
I turned to finally look John in his face. He was deep in thought, he glanced towards the window of the packhouse, and his face lit up. "Let's do her Birthday party here... You can tell her then, on her terms seemingly." He said. I nodded and furrowed my eyebrows in thought. "Perhaps that will work."

I woke up the next morning and shoved my comforter off of my body, the light from my large window flooded my room and allowed the hardwood floorboards to shimmer. I stood from my bed, nothing on me but my boxers holding on to my hip bones. I scratched my head and stretched. Suddenly, my bedroom door swung open and there she stood. Her eyes glued to the floor as she spoke. "I'm sorry for being rude yesterday, I didn't mean to embarrass Jon or myself. I don't know what I was thinking. Could you find it in your heart to forgive me... Alpha?" My wolf went ballistic at the sound of her not only begging me for forgiveness but calling me her Alpha.I glanced at her baggy t-shirt and thin legs and her toes faced inwards, indicating her shame. She was a sight to take in. I bit my lip as my wolf went insane, causing my entire body to heat up significantly.
"Aurora..." I started, watching her tiny frameshift to cover her face with her hands. My wolf howled at me saying her name. He wanted us to pick up her little body and show her how to properly say our name. Alpha. But moan it and whine it until her sweet throat is sore. Stop it.
"Please, please don't banish Jon... It was my mistake and I'm so sorry, but Jon can't-" She finally looked up to look me in my eyes and well... everywhere else. "Oh my god! I-" She screamed as her face reddened rapidly.
She slammed my door shut and the noise of her feet tapping down the hallway caused me to let out a chuckle. My smile widened as I moved to my bathroom to go brush my teeth. I couldn't recall a time where I had smiled like that. I also may need an ice bath after my wolf's perverted wants filled my head.
I finished buttoning my shirt as I walked out of my bedroom. "Morning Alpha", different people chimed as I walked down the hallway and I nodded at the different members of my pack. I walked down the stairs and took my seat at the table as breakfast was waiting for me. Jake,
Jon and Aurora sat at the table, all of them nodding their heads at me except for Aurora. "Good morning Aurora."Her stunning green eyes lifted from the eggs on her plate to look at me. "Good morning Alpha Ashton." She spoke softly as her cheeks reddened once again. My wolf threatened to come out suddenly, eager to mark the small girl who sat across me. I stood abruptly, "Excuse me." I moved quickly to get through the back door as my wolf growled loudly. My wolf, Zeus spoke to me with sound waves. "Mark her, make her yours, pin her down and-" I cut off my mind link and re-shifted all of my bones back into place. This is getting out of control, Zeus.
I fixed up my outfit, smoothing out the wrinkles, and walked back inside. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't having thoughts. She was so young, I couldn't help but feel wrong for being so sexually attracted to my mate. I wanted to mark her and show everyone how perfect my mate really was. But she can't even look me in my eyes.
I sat in my chair and began eating my breakfast. She would understand how I felt about her soon enough, but for now, I guess I'll have to settle with admiring from a distance.
