Only three moons were left.
Even though they should have been searching around for the last ingredient without pause the two couldn't focus.
Alexander was completely in love with Benjamin, and wanted to be close to him in every way possible.
As they walked they held hands, Benjamin found himself getting random hugs and kisses, and they were altogether distracted from the task at hand, more interested in discovering their newly found romance.
Benjamin liked Alexander, but with Alexander kissing him and showing him all the affection he ever desired that like quickly turned to love.
At night they would curl up together and Alexander would cook delicious things for Benjamin, well as good as he could manage with the food selection they had.
Benjamin was completely content, until he realized that they had wasted a whole day.
Benjamin went to sleep warm, and promised himself that they wouldn't waste another day, after all his dad, the King, was at stake.

When Benjamin woke up in the morning he jumped out of Alexander's arms and quickly started on searching.
"So do we have any idea what we need yet?" Alexander yawned as Benjamin looked over the forest floor.
"Maybe. I have a few ideas, but so far none of them seem to fit right." Benjamin said as he climbed on top of a rock.
"Be careful." Alexander said boredly.
"I am being-" Benjamin was cut off by his foot slipping down the side of the rock and landing on the ground.
Benjamin screamed out in pain as Alexander ran around the rock and picked him up, inspecting his foot.
"Benji, I think you broke your ankle." Alexander said, face turning a sickly pale.
Benjamin just screamed, tears forming in his eyes as he was unable to speak through the pain.
Alexander carried Benjamin to a tree and propped him up against it. He slowly looked over Benjamin's foot again once Benjamin had calmed down.
It was defined broken.
"Benji, this is broken. Maybe you should rest for the day and then we can pick the searching back up tomorrow." Alexander said while rubbing Benjamin's leg to sooth some of the soreness.
"Out of the question. We only have today and tomorrow left to get back home AND find an item that represents love." Benjamin said.
"Fine. But you're not walking on that thing. And you going to rest for at least a few minutes." Alexander said with hesitation.
"If I don't walk how do you suppose I get around?" Benjamin asked.
Alexander smirked. "Guess I'll have to carry you." He said
Benjamin flushed red but didn't argue.
After only a few minutes of rest Benjamin insisted that they must go on, but Alexander forbid it.
"If you're that anxious I'll go look around again, but you're staying here. I'll come back in a few minutes, and if anything, ANYTHING, goes wrong I want you to scream as loud as you can." Alexander said, standing up and dusting himself off.
Benjamin just nodded and smiled.
