How The Two Princes of Iniversuia Came To Be

The Last Ingredient

Alexander came back sooner than Benjamin expected, and was holding something in his hand behind his back.

"Did you find something?" Benjamin asked excitedly.

"Not the ingredient, but I got something to make you feel better." Alexander said, before revealing a poorly constructed daisy crown in his hand with a proud smile.

Benjamin almost awwwed out loud, close to crying from happiness at the effort that must have went into that simple little crown.

Alexander placed it softly on Benjamin's head, giggling slightly at the blush that covered his cheeks.

Suddenly Benjamin's eyes lit up and he grabbed at Alexander's neck and lifted himself up.

"You donk! You found the last ingredient! An item representing love, you made this crown out of love!" Benjamin said excitedly.

Alexander's eyes widened, then he laughed happily.

"I didn't even think of that!" Alexander said, growing more and more happy as the realization fully hit him.

Benjamin laughed and Alexander swung him around lightly in the air, the two finally feeling complete.

That night they slept like babies, and the next morning Benjamin was excited to return home with his boyfriend and the ingredients to save his dad.

With one moon left the two were traveling joyfully, proud of what the had accomplished. They reached the kingdom, walking through the cottage houses that all had drawing of the king in the doors, all praying for the King to be well in the end.

Flowers were in full bloom, people were outside working as hard as possible. Schoolchildren could be seen in the school yard, out at their afternoon break, all carrying books. Usually they would be playing, but all the students had gathered in a circle on their own accord and were reciting the poem 'Our Strong King' that had been written long ago.

Benjamin felt tears in his eyes with all the pride the Kingdom was showing for their King. It made Benjamin think about his future as King, and how he hopes his kingdom will love him as much as the Kingdom loves his dad.

"Alex," Benjamin said suddenly, "my dad won't be King forever, and when he has to step down I'll be king."

Alexander nodded, wondering what Benjamin was doing.

"Would you like to rule with me?" Benjamin said quietly.

Alexander smiled and gathered his boyfriend up in a strong hug. "Of course Benjamin."
