"Finally.......finally!" I said craddling the bag to my chest like it was my life line. Jobe had went back to his streets with the money, plane and left over food. Me and Hisoka were back at the tower in his room. I was half asleep still and had basically slept the whole ride back. Jobe theorized it was from the trama of the trip. Now that it had passed I was allowing myself to recover through rest.

"Go to sleep, you'll waist your time reading that book like this." Hisoka said taking the bag from me. I nearly had a panic attack when he did. "NOOOOOOOOOOO! Give it back please! I promise not to read it but just give it back!" I said trying to rip the bag from his arms with a vector.

"You'll survive it being on the table over here for the night." He said pulling away and placing the bag onto the table. I looked anxiously to the bag and continued to do so even when Hisoka had climbed into bed and turned off the lights. Eventually I was able to get to sleep. I ended up sleeping most the day away with out notice. When I got up I immediately grabbed the bag to myself and opened it up.

"Your not going to eat first?" Hisoka asked from the ground playing with his cards.

"I am eating......knowledge!" I said opening the bag. I carefully grabbed the first book I touched dusting it off gently. I cracked it open seeing the blank pages. I used my shadow eyes on it and found the pages suddenly filled with words.

A BREIF HISTORY OF OUR PEOPLE

THE FIRST OF US

Long ago a woman gave birth to a child, a little girl. She grew as any other child did untill the day of her first blood. The newly made young lady grew a pair of horns and a pair of invisible pair of hands that stretched far beyond her own tangible ones. When her parents saw her they were terrified by the sight of there daughter's newly formed horns and took her to a local warrior. Upon the sight of the girl the warrior declared her a demon and tried killing the girl despite her parents please.

The young lady ran off back to her home where her parents meet back up with her and apologized for their actions. All calmed once more and night came. While asleep the towns people lead by the warrior set their house a flame. The girl was able to make it out alive and escape deep into the woods but her parents weren't so lucky. For years she lived as an outcast in the woods. She eventually grew up into a full fledged adult growing another set of arms and meet a traveling hunter. They became friends then something more. A year later the horned woman had a child then another two years after.

When that child grew up to her first blood she too grew horns and these invisible hands and would be quickly followed by her sister. The towns people learned of this and went after the cursed family. The family ran far away from that town but rumors flew farther and faster then they could ever. Soon they were branded as Diclonius. For generations they lived in the shadows of society. Their children had children, then their children's children hand children and so on and so fourth.

THE REUNION

Scattered, scared and fearful. The Diclonius daughter's found their number's expanding despite the prejudice that surrounded them. It is said that two sister's decided that they needed to get away to a place free of all people. The youngest suggested they just sail away to a island somewhere that is unknown. It was but a child's dream but in years to come that dream would come to bare fruit as the two sister's accompanied by another one of their kin out to sea. All their lives and the lives of their children to follow searched the ocean for any unknown land masses.

It wasn't till the sister's grandchild Isamu, sailed off following the wishes of his mother and grandmother that Horn Island would be found. Immediately the campaign to search for our scattered kin started and it would take one hundred and fifteen years to complete.
