HELLO GUYS, IF YOU ARE READING THIS THEN CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE READ THE ENTIRE BOOK BUT WILL IT BE THE END OF THE STORY? THAT DEPENDS ON YOU, WOULD YOU LIKE A SEQUEL? IT'LL HAVE HISOKA AND LIZ'S CHILD AND A NEW ENEMY AND SUCH!
It's been two months since me and Hisoka made up or should I say that I got over myself. Mar was growing up quite nicely so far. Hisoka began stepping in and helping me out with Mar almost like he was his father. I wonder if Mar will one day call him dad or if he will allow Mar to do so.
Jobe constantly text or calls me asking about him. Me and Hisoka agreed that should both of us die, which is unlikely, that Mar would go to Jobe. I was debating on making it Meg to get him but I decided against it. She had her own life to live and she is considering going out on her own adventure. She wants to find all the lost fallen and guide them back to the island. That way when Alessa becomes Eturnal Mother they can be put to rest once and for all if so they choose. It was a really nice thought and the fallen have taken a better liking to her just from her suggesting it.
"Hey Liz.......are you a Hisoka planning on leaving the Island any time soon?" Meg asked as she helped me move all of Hisoka's, Mar's and my shit out of the basement.
"No.....I don't plan on leaving untill Mar is at least seven months old. I know Hisoka is already going stir crazy but I just don't feel safe traveling such a long distance with him so young. I don't think I'll feel much safer when he's seven months old but it's worth it." I said giving Hisoka a pointed look from where he sat on the ground with Mar in his lap.
"I understand and agree with you're reasoning, you don't have to keep making it a point to remind me." Hisoka defended shuffling his cards.
"I know....I just see how antsy you are and that makes me antsy." I appologised.
"I have more control then you give me credit for." He said.
"Yeah yeah....I know." I sighed begining my long trek to the mountain side cabin we've fixed up.
"So.....are you guys shooting to have children?" Meg asked.
"Well, we haven't talked about it. I think we're just going to see what happens." I shrugged.
"So...you guy know you'll end up becoming pregnant but don't care when and where. I guess that means my chances of stumbling into a orgy for two has been cut down some." She said.
"Oh Meg, don't worry soon you'll have you're own protector to cherish." I said.
"Yeah! I'm sure once you go on a journey by you're self you'll find one!" My mother chimmed in from behind us. She had to look around the load she was carrying in her hands since Meg had her tangible so that she and Alessa could help us move.
"As in, we have enjoyed you're company but you should really leave and experience the world on you're own if not for your sake then ours." Alessa agreed.
"I know, It's just that I'll miss my friends here." Meg said sending me a smile.
"We'll miss you too, parting is such bitter sorrow! Oh woe is us to have such fate the separates us onto different paths of life! Yadda yadda yadda." Alessa taunted.
"Don't be that way Alessa, you're not fooling anyone with the act. We all know that you secretly care about us all." I called back.
"She's right you know." Mom chimmed in happily. Alessa grumbled under her breath but said nothing more about it.
"At least you're happier." Meg commented looking down to the ground.
"Oh Meg, he doesn't make me happy. Well, he does but before it was my turoil that was causing me distress but you, the fallen and Mar has always made me happy. Even if I act like you don't, that's something I developed after meeting the now Grand Mother." I said taking a stab at Alessa.
"I know, I guess I still kinda wish things where how they were but.....I'm happy the way they are now and don't want to ruin it." Meg sighed. I too sighed and shook my head at her comment. I don't know why I let her advancement go that far. I know that it's not uncommon for clan sisters to do that and my hormones where going all over the place but still. Anyways, it was water under the bridge now.
We worked on arranging the stuff in the house to my liking before we went to pick up Hisoka and the baby. It was nice moving into a livible house filled with windows, the basement was so dark. I did move all the weapons, treasures and armor sets to the house. I might not wear the armor right now but I might one day or perhaps my children will. I wanted to start actually fixing the island in stead of just cleaning it. I wanted to leave behind something better for the generations to come. I felt like the rencarnation of the original Mother.
"So....I think I'll leave tomorrow then." Meg said sitting down on a bench we had placed in the living room for lack of having a couch.
"Why so soon?" Hisoka asked.
"Why not?" She quesrioned him.
"Because.....I'll miss you." I said.
"So? You'll miss me if I decide to leave at a later point of time. I'm not doing anyone any favors right now. I want to do something that will benifit more then just me." She said.
"Okay.....well you can take that ship Hisoka got to come back. You're more then welcome to take as much food as you'll need and water. Don't forget water and be safe out there." I said.
"Don't worry about me, I've eaten people before remember?" She joked getting up from the bench. "Well, I'm going to go a say goodbye then get ready. I plan on leaving in the morning."
"Alright girl, we'll see you off then." I promised.
"Thanks, have a good night." She said before leaving.
"Well, I guess it'll be just the three of us." I said turning over to Hisoka.
"And the fallen, must you always exclude them?" He scolded.
"It's not that I don't like them, it's just hard to include people who aren't physically there you know?" I said. "Anyways, come on. We need to go to bed now." We went to our bedroom and laid down in our cot and went to sleep for the night. Yep, everything was looking up right now and the future looked promising. Though, I can't help but to wonder how long it will last. After all life isn't a rose garden. It's not a story with a rising action, climate, falling action and conclusion. It's a relentless series of trials, of valley and hills. There is no happily ever after, only happily ever in the moment but I wouldn't have it any other way. Besides, how boring would life be if it really was like a fairy tale?
"Are you going to lay here thinking all night or are you going to actually fall asleep?" Hisoka mumbled into my ear.
"Sorry." I huffed.
"It's okay, it's just that you're the one who demanded that we should sleep." He pointed out.
"I know good night Hisoka." I said settling into a more comfortable possition.
"Night Liz." He said and I closed my eyes drifting to sleep.
