She can feel the two of them floating downwards together, his eyes no longer looking into hers as a violet dust begins to surround him. "Jimin, what are you-"
"I'm sorry for hiding so much from you", he starts as they finally reach the ground safely. He finally looks into her eyes and she gasps at the roaring dark color that seems to wash over his irises. She takes a step away from him in response, fear bubbling in her gut.
"Jimin what's-"
"I know I've lied to you all this time... but I just want you to know that I regret it. I regret everything I've done to hurt you", he says as his voice comes out as a whimper. He takes a step forward as his hand extends towards her; the purple dust that had once swirled around his body had begun to form into the palm of his hand. She watches in awe and amazement as the violet dust finally takes shape, the dust turning into the darkly colored rose that she had remembered some time ago.
"Jihyun, please forgive me", he says for one final time as he blows on the rose, the flower turning into the purple sparkling dust again as it collides into her face. She breathes it in hastily, choking on the crystals of powder as she feels it entering her lungs. It clouds her throat and mind, practically suffocating her as everything begins to grow foggy and muddled...
...her smile disappears as she places the coin into the slot, turning it quickly to open the lock. A satisfied click is made as she finally tosses the coin to the side somewhere and pushes the door open.
"Well because you didn't want to unlock the door, I got a coin and-"
Her voice halts just like the rest of her body as a trail of water leads to a filled bathtub. The smell of bleach over powers her and practically suffocates her as she stands in the doorway for who knows how long. Her wide and now frightened eyes land on the boy in the tub, his entire body submerged underneath the liquid. She feels her body beginning to grow numb at the sight of her best friend. She can feel her heart deflate at the sight of his form still with not a sign of movement.
"JIMIN", she screams as she drops the bags she had been holding, sprinting towards the tub without another thought. She doesn't realize the large amount of liquid that had spilled onto the floor and she slips, a gush of air wrapping around her as if it had wanted to help stop her fall. But of course, gravity is stronger and it pulls her down, smacking her head into the porcelain bathroom tile. Her adrenaline spikes, causing her to ignore the pain and she scrambles upwards to get to Jimin.
"No Jiminie", she cries out shakily as she quickly downs her hands into the bleach diluted liquid, grasping onto the boy and pulling him out with all the strength she could muster. Her body trembles in fear as she notices his stiff and cold form, his body looking and feeling lifeless under her touch.
"Jimin please don't do this to me", her cries turning into sobs as she rests his body on the floor once she's taken him out of the tub. Thoughts of how to do CPR purge against her throbbing skull as she places her hands in the correct form above his rib cage, her arms straightening as she pushes her weight onto his chest repeatedly.
"Don't die on me Jimin!"
Her agonizing screams escape her as if she were the one in pain, as if she were the one that had just breathed in the intoxicating liquid instead of Jimin. She continues to push and push, hoping that the liquid could escape his lungs.
