[Chapter 5- Falling Star]

---

Throughout the entire school day so far, Jihyun hasn't seen Jimin. She looked and looked, but still couldn't find him or his friend Jungkook. She wants to at least find someone that Jimin knows at this school.

And that's when she spots him.

She notices the raven haired boy walk down the hallway, shoulders slumped and his head looking down.

"Jungkook!"

Jihyun runs to the boy and he slowly turns, tired eyes widening in response. No one besides Jimin and his other friends has ever called Jungkook's name out like that. A little bewildered, Jungkook watches Jihyun as she stops in front of him with a small smile.

"You're Jungkook, right?" Jihyun asks to confirm and Jungkook nods slowly while looking around. All of the other students continue to walk by while giving Jihyun a couple of weird looks. Jihyun ignores the others and waves her hand in front of Jungkook's face to catch his attention once again.

"Oh uh- sorry. Yea I'm Jungkook... What do you want?" His response to Jihyun was quite rude and slow. His voice was drawled and tired; it sounded like it's been weeks since he last spoke. Now that Jihyun has a better look of Jungkook's face, she also notices how pale and warn out his expression is as well.

"I was wondering if you knew where Jimin was?" Jihyun asks nervously and Jungkook's eyes grow dark. With an irritable sounding sigh and a roll of his eyes, Jungkook shrugs his shoulders and turns around, leaving Jihyun standing in the middle of a swarm of other students trying to get to their classes. She watches in shock as the black haired boy disappears from her sight, growing lost in the hundreds of other students.

A frown begins to appear on Jihyun's lips as the third bell of the day rings, instructing the students to enter the classrooms. With a small sigh, Jihyun watches as the other kids pile into their classes, with the same expressions and the same hurried movements.

---

The final bell of the day rings in triumph and Jihyun packs her things into her bag. Her eyebrows furrow as she tries to ignore the other students and their pointless chatter. Thoughts of Jimin and his friend scurry into her mind; She's trying to think of where Jimin could possibly be. With no help from Jimin's friend, there's no other way she could possibly know.

"Maybe he's just absent... Caught a cold or something", Jihyun tells herself as she slings her bag over shoulder, walking out of the still half filled classroom.

Students joyfully run down the hallways in excitement, their thoughts all about finally going home after a long day. Laughs and obnoxious voices are echoing throughout the hallway, sending a dull ache into Jihyun's head. It's as if the energy she had this morning is being sucked out of her body, making her tired and all of a sudden depressed again.

Jimin... Jimin.. Jimin.

That's all she can think about. Before, it was the exact opposite; she would always forget who Jimin is. But now it seems that the tables have turned and she can't seem to get him off her mind. It's not like she likes the guy, it's just that she has this sudden urge to see him. He seems so addicting... What exactly is it that makes Jimin so addicting to her? She has only encountered him a couple times after all... So why is it such a big deal to her?

More and more questions prod into Jihyun's aching head and she applies pressure to her temples, wanting to dull the pain some more. She continues to walk through the ache in her head and pushes the front doors of the schools open to exit.
