"Chara..." Frisk groaned, nudging Chara with their foot, "Wake uuppp..."

"Wake me up when you kill Mr. Dad Guy..." Chara muttered.

"I did." Frisk stated bluntly.

Chara bolted up, "You WHAT?!"

"Yep. You're, uh, a very heavy sleeper."

"So... Where are we now?" Chara looked around at their surroundings, seeing nothing but blank space.

"The void, I think. Where we restart or continue a timeline."

"So I'm guessing we have to go back to our save point before we fought Dad. So we can go to True Lab-"

"We still have to take care of Flowey."

Chara paled. "Wait... You mean..."

"Yup, we have to take care of that Photoshop motherfucker." Frisk began walking.

"This isn't okay! Why didn't you wake me up afterwards?!"

Frisk smiled tauntingly, looking over their shoulder, "What, ya scared?"

Chara's cheeks flared up in anger and embarrassment, "N-No!" They stood, and ran to catch up with Frisk, "I'm just saying, maybe it would be less of a hassle if-" Suddenly, a giant window appeared in front of them. It read their name, "Charisk," how long they've been on their journey, and where their last save point was. Their save file.

A small crack formed on the window, then grew into a larger crack, erasing their file, and finally becoming completely destroyed.

Flowey cackled, his face appearing on a crackling screen out of nowhere, "Howdy! It's me! Flowey! You're best friend!" He said with a taunting wink.

He went on about how he would've never killed Asgore with Frisk's help, and how with their seventh and final soul, he planned on becoming God and taking over the universe, showing monsters, humans, everyone, what the "true meaning of the world is."

"Oh," he said after a cackle, "And don't bother trying to go back to your old save file." His voice momentarily turned demonic, "It's gone forever," it then went back to normal, "But your old friend Flowey has worked out a replacement for you!" His voice became demonic once again, "I'll save over your own grave. So I can tear you to bloody pieces, over, and over, and over..."

"How about you go fuck yourself," Chara growled.

Flowey let out another cackle, "And to think, Chara... It didn't have to be like this... I mean, let's face it! You're the reason I'm like this!"

Chara jumped. Frisk jumped to their defense, "Don't say that! They didn't know you would..."

"And even so, had they not had such a grudge against their fellow humans, we wouldn't have had the plan in the first place! We could've grown up happily, but no... You had to get your revenge."

"That's enough!" Chara yelled, throwing their knife at the screen the flower was displayed on. It simply cracked the screen, making it crackle more often. Once again, their eyes were black melted holes with red dots in the middle. "There is no 'we'! You are not Asriel! And you don't know what I had went through! How insane it drove me..." Their voice reverted back to normal on the last few words, anger turning into sadness as horrible memories flooded their mind.

Flowey cackled again, "Was that your attempt at making me stop talking? Wow... To think I was once siblings with an idiot like you..."  He said slowly before his face disappeared.

"Get back here you damn flower!"

The flower cackled. A large, shadowy figure slowly came into view. The screen appeared once again with Flowey's face, his eyes splitting into demonic, red orbs with green pupils. Light was restored, revealing the rest of the hideous beast that stood in front of the two humans. It's features were distorted and out of place, the monitor -- that was screening Flowey's face -- which still had the knife lodged into it atop the monstrosity. Both of the humans' souls appeared, one slightly misshapen. The monster let out a loud, distorted laugh.

Chara, still fueled with anger, charged at it. "If you think you can intimidate me, you've got another thing com-" Dozens of vines shot out of the beast, shooting right through the human. Chara stopped in place, dropping to their knees after the vines faded out of existence. Frisk ran to their side, kneeling beside them. The monster laughed as Chara coughed up blood. "He's...a bit more powerful than I thought..."

"Chara!" Frisk exclaimed, "Are you okay?!"

"Hell no. But anger can do amazing things to you. Like make you think you're fine when you just almost got severed in half." Chara smiled weakly, "Guess that's my fault though, huh?"

"Chara...?" Frisk called worriedly.

Chara didn't respond, looking away. "You know what happens next..." They smiled, "See ya after you defeat this bastard. I know you will..." They faded into dust, their soul cracking into pieces afterwards.

Frisk sat, frozen in place. Tears welled up in their eyes. They couldn't reset. Flowey had control over their save file. And now... Chara was gone. Dead. They couldn't come back. Unless Frisk restored the timeline, getting rid of this evil monster that killed the one they loved.

Their expression hardened. They knew what they had to do.They stood, balling their fists.

"Welly well well," Flowey said in an amused, yet distorted, tone, "Chara's soul wasn't nearly enough to satisfy me. Guess I'm going to have to steal yours as well." Frisk took a step forward. "Huh? Do you really think you can fight me?" Flowey laughed, "You both are idiots!" He began to attack Frisk, launching projectiles and other hard to dodge nonsense. But Frisk didn't let that discourage them.

It was weird, how Frisk felt for Chara. You would think with the way Chara treated Frisk that they would feel everything but love for them. But they didn't. Chara -- of all creatures in the world, Chara -- had stolen Frisk's heart. Chara had done a lot for Frisk. And Frisk wanted to repay their dept. Now was their chance.

They were going to fight Flowey, like the many times they had done before. But this time, it would be a bit more personal. It was for Chara. Chara, the angsty, emotional moron. Chara, the easily angered, genocidal demon. Chara, the only human that has ever truly cared for Frisk -- though they weren't very good at showing it. But their actions spoke for them.

Chara...the human Frisk loved, and owed their life to.

They didn't care how many times they would die and return to the void, all alone. They were going to defeat Flowey, at all costs.

They were filled

With DETERMINATION.
