Chapter 16

The next morning, my routine pretty much became very basic. I would sit at my dining room table, and make exactly 156 milk bottles and store them away in our second fridge. This one would hold made milk bottles, baby bottles filled with water, and about a hundred one litre bottles filled with cooled boiled water.

I stacked 26 onto my lap and rolled myself into the lounge room where the bouncers were set up. The bottles were still warm. I put them all in their own bouncer, and gave them a bottle. They drank away happily, cooing to me around the teats in their mouths.

And yes, you heard right. The only time that I am allowed to walk around is when I walk from my wheelchair to the loo, the toilet, then back again.

I was gonna humbug Nex until he gets me a nifty little electric wheelchair. I was also gonna have myself a long row of trolley carts made for me, so I could hook them up to my electric scooter wheelchair and have some girls to come for a walk. So that they could feed the kiddies as they need, and change their nappies as needed.

I jumped when I heard my mobile phone ring. I fished it out of my handbag, which hung on the handle behind me to my right. "Hello?" I said into it after I answered.

"Babe, don't think so loud! But good idea! It would help when we got to see the pack grounds. Which is why I thought of it last night, after you fell asleep. I had the electric buggie on overnight delivery and it came just as I was about to walk out. Damon also said he would cover me so we can go to see the pack grounds lat on."

"But what about the scooter carts?" I asked him.

"All done. I had them made when your Gran was interigating me. She told me to do one for each child. Also, she said to make sure the scooter carts as you call them are not only able to link to your electric scooter, but also detach and be used as a weird looking pram of sorts. Which means our usually coupled walk through, will be accompanied by 26 other couples. The guys won't let their girls go anywhere outside without them." Nex answered.

I chuckle. "Lik someone else I know."

"I never said that I wasn't protective!" He retorted.

"Touché." I giggled. We chatted for a little bit.

"I will see you in a little bit. I need to set up your convoy!" He chuckled. I giggled. We hung up. But I reread the deeds and such. The locations though, they rang a bell in the back of my mind. I took out my iPad Mini and logged into the supernatural's version of 'Ask Jan', which was 'Ask Knowledge Keeper Nioki'. I typed in a question, 'Why do these locations ring a bell for me?' I listed the locations, and put my email account into 'Contact Details' section.

Then I goggle mapped the locations. Each location had the exact same building layout! Which made me realize, my pack ground were missing some buildings. But then a thought popped up in my mind. I still had the contents of my grandmother's will to collect. The women were all holding the little kids and Little One sat sleeping on my lap. She would not leave my side! I sighed.

I squealed when I was suddenly lifted from my wheelchair. I looked and saw Nex, looking quite smug. He took me downstairs and set me into my own electric scooter, which was connected a row of 26 shaded boxes. The shaded boxes had one side rolled up though, so you could see inside it. It had a seat, a baby changer and a place to put the baby bags. Cute, in a weird, practical way.

When we, the babies and I, we're all situated, I tried to put the electric scooter to pull my convoy, and it did. When I looked up, 27 bicycles were ready to go, and only one of them didn't have a covered pulley scooter cart thing. But these ones held the pregnant women and a couple things to eat and drink, for both, man and woman. Nex even had my wheelchair hanging from the back of my electric scooter.
