~Nichole's POV~

It's been a year, a year since I was cheated on a day before my wedding, dumped over phone, and left without looking back. I'd be lying if I said I'm over Ryder, because I'm all honesty everyday is torture, without his soft kisses, irresistible smile, and stupid jokes. Some part of me wants to go back and listen to what be has to say, but the most reasonable part of me told me to just forget about him and try to move on. The keyword is try.

Over this past year my life has gotten better besides the Ryder thoughts and all. I'm still studying and have two years to go. I decided that I'll major in business to take over my dad's company when he hands it over. I have a side job that I very much enjoy doing. I found my love for acting when I met Lauren my neighbor who lives two doors down and honestly I couldn't thank her anymore than I already have. Somehow I ended up being a celebrity and am chased half of the time, although I love acting I really want to take over my dad's business. Who knows maybe one day I can do both. Plus it helps me pay for Rosebelle's and I's expenses. Since I agreed that my dad would pay for the apartment, I told him I would take care of the rest.

My dad and Juily often visit, although Juily always brings up Ryder, I pretend not to care and tell her I don't want to listen to anything that has to do with him. I know it's a little harsh, but every time I think of him it brings back memories of last year and I really don't want to remember those.

Rose will be two in a couple of months and I'll be 20 in a few weeks. Time flys fast, huh?

During my time in the city, I only made a couple of friends, one being Lauren. I haven't been on any dates and only go out once in a while and when I do I take Rose with me.

Rose reminds me a lot of her dad, the hair, the eyes, the nose, the smirk. The smirk! How does a toddler know how to smirk?! I blame this on Ryder. As if on cue, Rose comes running in my room with a broken Barbie in her hands and tears running down her cheeks.

"Mommy!" She cries.

"What's happened baby?" I ask picking her up and placing her on my lap.

"Wit bwoke." She said sniffing. Although she's one she's pretty smart for her age. Just like me, I thought.

"It's okay baby, I'll buy you another one. A prettier one." I say trying to sooth her. She stops crying and nods eagerly.

"Yay!" She squeals and jumps off my lap. It's times like this I'm glad she's still too young to asks for her dad. I know she'll ask sooner or later, but the time isn't now so I won't have to worry about it till then.

I chuckle at her excitement and go back on my computer. My stomach grumbles as I wrote the last sentence for my English LA report. I jumped off my bed shutting my computer and head to the kitchen. I was looking thought the refrigerator when the door bell rang. I sighed and looked in between the food in the refrigerator and the door. The bell rang again and I huffed.

"I'm going! I'm going! Wait up." I shout and swing the door open not bothering to look through the peep hole.

"I brought pizza." Liam announced.

"Did you hear my stomach grumble or something because your right on time?" I joke and grab the two boxes of pizza.

"I'm just awesome like that." He smirks and I laugh. He pushes me aside and plops himself on the couch.
