Damn! He had a way with words. "What I mean to say is, will you be my boyfriend?" My heart was racing. My breathing was ragged.

To The End was blaring in my speakers when I pulled into the school parking.

"Hey Fag!" I gave whoever it was the finger and kept walking to my friends. "Hello? Are you deaf too?" I was shoved to the ground. "Look at me faggot!"It was Tyler's best friend Mark.

"What do you want?" You could hear the venom in my words.

"For you to stop walking around like you own the place." He kicked me in my side multiple times.

"Mark stop!" It was Tyler.

"Because he's my boyfriend." Tyler got on his knees and kissed my forehead.

"Go away Mark." He stood up and jolted forwards, before stopping and returning to me. "Are you ok Josh?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I stood up and saw Pete and Patrick running towards me.

"Are you okay Josh, that was some beating you got." Pete sounded agitated.

"I'm fine."

"Um Josh?"

"Yeah Tyler?"

"Can I sit with you at lunch today?"

"Yeah sure." He kissed my cheek and walked to his class. Pete and Patrick both raised their eyebrows. "I'll explain later. I have to get to class."
