A Day In The Life

Chapter 15

Austin's pov

            I got out of bed and did my morning routine then went to Keegan's. I knocked on the door. "It's open," she said. I stepped in. Keegan walked out her room. "I'm starting not to fit anything," she said. "You look fine." She frowned her face. "I'm tired of wearing sweat pants and legging. My shorts and jeans are too tight." "Let's go.." Keegan sighed as she grabbed her things. We went to the doctors to find out the genders. We sat in the back. Keegan touch a bunch of stuff. I take it that's what she do when she comes here. Dr. Lucas walked in. "Oh hello Austin," he said. "Hi." Keegan laid on the bed as Dr. Lucas set up some stuff. He did the ultrasound. We listened to both heartbeats. I want to cry but I'm not going to. "You guys are having a both boys," he said. Keegan smiled and looked at me. I held her hand. "See you in a month." "Thank you." We left the hospital. I dropped Keegan off at home as I went to my house. It was a mess so I decided to clean up and go through a few things.

       I sat in my room going through all my clothes. I found a lot of Keegan's things. I guess we're in good terms now but I miss her so much. I'm such an asshole. I went through some old photos also. I put them all in a box and planned on taking them to her but I ended up just taping the box shut and pushed it into a corner. Once I finished cleaning I went to the gym. "Rose," said Jon. "Yes?" "What's going on in that head of yours?" "Too much." "Got sweat it off the go over the moves I taught you last time." I nodded as I sat my stuff down and started training. I trained harder and longer. Around 5:45pm I went get dinner then went home. I took a shower then ate. It's so peaceful without Lucas but I kinda miss the kid. I laid on the couch flipping through the channels. My phone vibrated. I picked it up to see a text from Keegan.
KM❤️: I was thinking we could name them Asa Alexander and Wesley Christian.
Me: it's your choice.
KM❤️: they're not just mine. They're yours too.
Me: oh I know but I want the names to be your choice. If we ever have a daughter I'll name her.
KM❤️: you're reminding me of all the reasons why I fell in love with you😩😩
Me: 😊 I'll see you tomorrow.
KM❤️: ok.

       I sat my phone down and went to sleep. At sometime during the night my phone kept vibrating. I grabbed it to see it was Keegan calling. I answered. "You're so needy while pregnant," I said. "I know it's late but I'm really hungry and I want pancakes and chicken tenders." I yawned as I looked at the time. "It's three thirty," I said. "Austin!" "Fine fine meet me at the diner in twenty minutes." Keegan hung up the phone. I climbed off the couch and into my room. I put on a pair of sweat pants and my maroon hoodie. I grabbed my phone and keys and drove to the diner. Keegan was sitting there already eating. I walked in and sat across from her. She waved at me and continued to stuff her face. "You could've waited," I said. "Well you were taking too long and I wouldn't have gotten food in my belly I would be vomiting." "I said twenty minutes." "Are you done I'm trying to enjoy my food." "Can I at least have a pancake?" "Are you eating for three? This morning I tried eating a super food bowl and the kiddos didn't agree to it so I ate an omelet." Keegan went on and on talking about the twins. She's so cute. After we ate I drove her home. I don't know why she's always walking when she has a car. I walked Keegan up to her apartment. "See ya," I said. "Thanks for meeting up with me." "No problem." I hugged her then walked off. "Austin wait," Keegan said. I turned around. "Do you want to sleep over?" I smiled. "I would love to." I walked towards Keegan's apartment. She opened the door and we entered. Keegan walked towards her bedroom. I don't know was I was acting as if I never slept at her house before.

    Keegan crawled into bed. "Cuddles," she said softly. I took off my maroon hoodie and kicked off my shoes and crawled into bed. I wrapped my arms around her as she curled into a ball in my side. Before I knew it I was asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of Keegan's quick foot steps.  I climbed out of bed and went into the bathroom. She was throwing up again. I held her hair back. I feel so bad for her. When Keegan finished she brushed her teeth as I flushed the toilet. I went and laid back down. Keegan shuffled to the kitchen then came back to bed. She went back to sleep. I stayed up most of the night making sure she was ok. Around six I climbed out of bed and made Keegan breakfast. When she got out of bed I was making her a cup of tea. She came and wrapped her arms around my upper body. "I miss you so much," she said softly. I turned around and hugged her. "I miss you too baby girl." Keegan rested her arms on my waist as I cupped her cheeks. I looked into her eyes to see them become glossy then watched as tears fell. "Stop crying. I'm not going anywhere," I said. "Promise?" I smiled as I leaned down and kissed her. "I promise." I then kneeled down and lifted Keegan shirt. "I'm here to stay little fellas." I kissed her stomach causing her to laugh. I stood up and smiled. Keegan grabbed the cup of tea and the fruit bowl I made for here then sat on the couch and turned on the tv. She watched a rerun of something.

       While she watched tv and ate I played in her hair. She's so innocent and sweet. There was a knock on the door. I stood up and went to answer it. It was Maddison. "Please tell me I'm not dreaming," she said. "You're not dreaming?" She ran into the apartment. "Maddie," Keegan cried. I walked back into the living room. Maddie was showing Keegan all the things she bought for Wesley and Asa. There's literally no where for it to go unless it goes to my place or Keegan moves. After about an hour went by Maddison left and Keegan had to go to work. I went home. Lucas was on the couch. "Hey," I said. "I waited for you last night but you never showed up." "What time did you get here?" "Uh about four in the morning Maddison and I got into an argument." "Whatever it's about its totally not worth it. Trust me. I know. Go apologize." "Well first I have to get dressed and get my sorry ass to work." "Please get the hell out my house." We both laughed. I went in my room and showered then went to the closes fire department and applied for the academy. After I did that I went to the gym. I spent a few hours there training. As I left I bumped into some guy. "My bad," I said. I looked up to see it was Cameron. "Oh hey. I received word you got a restraining order on me," he said. "I'm not suppose to be within 100 yards of you or Keegan." I walked out the door. "Are you going to run and tell McGarrett like the bitch you are?" "I beat your ass once I willing to do it again."

     I got in my car and called Keegan. She didn't answer. I stuck my key in the engine and pulled off. When I got home I took a shower and went to Keegan's house. "Hey," she said. I leaned down and kissed her. "I called you," I said. "I know I left work early because I wasn't feeling well. When I got home I took a nap long than expected." "Did you eat?" "Yes." "Good." "Rub my belly?" I smiled. Keegan grabbed my hand and went to sit in the couch. I rubbed her stomach until she went back to sleep. While she was sleeping I ate then sat next to her and went to sleep myself. At some point Keegan started whining. I rubbed my eyes and looked down at her. She tossed and turned. "Baby gir---." Keegan got up and rushed to the bathroom but she didn't make it and threw up on the floor. She whined as I went in the kitchen and to the powdered bleach. "No," she said. "What?" "It's going to strip the floor." "It's fine but that needs to get up." "I'll do it." "Go lay down." Keegan rolled her eyes as she went in the bathroom. She brushed her teeth then crawled into bed. After I cleaned up her vomit I laid next to her. Yet another sleepless night worrying about Keegan. She's such a beauty! Keegan laid on my chest then kissed my cheek and went back to sleep. I cannot wait until the day our sons get here so she doesn't have to go through this any more.
