Austin's pov

I stood in the bathroom trying to fix my hair but it just wasn't working so I rolled up my sleeves and grabbed my book bag and keys. "Lucas let's go," I said. "I'm taking my car plus I need to go get Maddison." Luke walked out his room. "You guys have been spending a lot of time together plus she's already at school." "How do you know?" "I talked to Keegan before getting out of bed and they had to get to school early for some sort of meeting with the team." I left the house. I got in my car and went to school. When I got their I killed the engine and got out. I walked over to the court yard to see Keegan and Maddison sitting with some guy. I walked over and sat next to Keegan. I kissed her. "Who's this guy," I asked? He has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was a decent looking guy. Keegan turned around and looked at me. She smiled. "What," I asked. "You look sexy with your sleeves rolled up." "Thank you baby girl." She smiled and leaned against me as wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "Hey," I said. They guy looked at me. "I'm Austin." "Aaron." The bell rung. "I'll meet up with you later." "Cool." Keegan and I stood up and went to our first period class.

The school day went by fast. I got my food then went to meet up with everyone. Keegan wasn't at the table. I sat down next to Lucas. "Where's Keegan," I asked? "Check study hall." I stood up. "You're just going to leave me?" "Come with Maddison might be with her." Lucas rolled his eyes and stood up as we walked to study hall Aaron (the new kid) showed up. "Hey," he said. "Hey." "Uh where's Maddie and Keegan." "Study hall." He nodded. "So see any chicks you like," Lucas asked? I chuckled. Typical Lucas. He sees a girl he must have her then break her heart. The process repeats but I haven't seen this process in a minute. He's been spending a lot of time with Maddie. When we got to study hall Keegan and Maddison were just sitting there eating. I walked over to Keegan as she stood up. I cupped her cheeks and smiled. "I thought you were going to kiss me," Keegan said.  "I was going to kiss you but I can't look into those hazel eyes of yours?" She smiled. I pressed my lips to Keegan's. The taste of tea lingered on her lips. I pulled away for a split second then kissed her again. As I kissed Keegan I felt a small grow on her face. I pulled away and sat down pulling Keegan onto my lap.

We sat in study hall for a couple of hours discussing homecoming and other things. Keegan wasn't feeling well so I walked her out to her car. "Call me when you get home," I said. "I will." "Hug." Keegan hugged me. "Kiss." She stood on her tippy toes and kissed me. "I love you princess," I said. "I love you too." Keegan got in her car then left. I just ended up getting in my car and going home. Keegan only lives about twenty minutes away but when I got home I video chatted with her. Her nose red and stuffy. Keegan wrapped herself in her blanket. "Austin," she whined. I laughed a little. "Yes love." "I want cuddles." I smiled as she sneezed which caused me to laugh. "Bless you," I said. "Thank you. Can you come over tomorrow after school?" "Of course I'll even come see you before." She smiled. Keegan and I talked for hours. I knew she was sleepy. "Baby girl," I said. "Hmm." "I'll see you tomorrow morning." "No." "You're sleepy and sick. You need you rest baby girl." "No talk to me until I fall asleep." "Goodnight baby girl." "I love you." "I love you too." I shut my laptop and went to shower.

When I got out I looked at my phone. Of course Keegan texted me and I responded. I knew she was sleep. I put on a pair of sweats and went to sleep. I woke up early the next morning and got dressed. I grabbed my things and went to the coffee shop. I got Keegan tea and a bagel. I got the same. When I got to her house I knocked on the door. Steve answered. "Hey," I said. "Hey. Keegan's in her room she's sick." "I know." "What's in the bag?" "Bagels." "Uh you can go on upstairs she might be sleeping." "Ok." I sat my bag on the floor then went upstairs. I knocked on Keegan's door. I didn't get a response so I just slowly opened the door. "Baby girl," I said softly. Keegan was laying on her bed with her laptop in front of her. She looked at me and turned on the lamp. "Babe," she said following a cough. "How ya feeling?" "Horrible. My nose is stuffy, I can't breath, my throat and stomach is jacked up and I can't kiss you until I feel better." "You can kiss my cheek." "I can't." "It's ok." I kissed Keegan's cheek. She had a fever. "Are you taking anything?" "No Steve was going to get some medicine. Can you look in that drawer on my desk and pass me my inhaler?" "I forgot you have asthma." "I'm surprise it doesn't act up when I play soccer." "Thats because you pace yourself." I grabbed the inhaler put the drawer and have it to Keegan. She pointed to her glasses. I passed those to her as she blew her nose. "I bought you some tea and a bagel," I said. "I'm afraid to eat." "Why?" "I tried eating last night and I threw it back up." "You need to eat baby girl." "I know I'll try." "I have to get going but I love you and I'll see you later. "Ok baby." I kissed Keegan's cheek. "Rest up." Keegan nodded as I left.
