Keegan's pov

After missing a week and a half of school I was finally able to get out of bed and go back. I never been so excited for school. I brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail. I then went over to my closet and put on my uniform and went downstairs. Steve was passed out on the couch. I grabbed a pair of socks out the dryer then sat on the step and put my shoes on. Once I was ready I grabbed my keys and books then left. When I got to school I went to my locker and switched out my books. While I was standing there someone wrapped their arms around my waist. "Happy birthday," they said. I turned around to see Austin. I smiled as he hugged me. "Can I finally kiss you," he asked? I shook my head yes as Austin pressed my back against the lockers and kissed me. I couldn't help but smile. "I love you," he said. "I love you too." Austin kissed me again but this time he didn't pull away. His lips tasted like something sweet but I didn't know what. Austin deepened the kiss by cupping my cheeks. "Ok ok you two get a room," said Lucas. Austin pulled away then gave me one last kiss before looking at Lucas. "Happy birthday little one," he said while giving me a bag. "Thanks." I took the bag. "You cannot open it until after school." I nodded as the bell rung. I gave Austin me a kiss then went to class.

After all my classes I finally had study hall with Austin, Aaron, Maddie and Luke. When I got there Maddison hugged me and gave me a hat. I noticed Austin wasn't there. "Where's Austin," I asked? "I don't know." I nodded as I sat next to Aaron. "Happy birthday," he said. "Thanks." When study hall ended Austin never showed up so I just went to the court yard. I waited for him for a while but he didn't show up so I went to find him. I checked the gym, locker room and all his classes. I walked out to the parking lot to see him with a girl. She had dirty blonde hair and made her skirt way to short. Austin didn't look happy. I stood there and watched for a while. She tried kissing him but Austin pushed her away. He looked over in my direction as I hid behind a wall. I stood there waiting for him. I stood there for about five second then he hit the corner. "Baby girl," he said. "Who is she?" "My ex." "Why is she trying to kiss you?" "Can you look at me?" I looked up as Austin. He looked upset with himself. "Don't be mad," he said softly. "I'm not." He went to kiss me but I turned my head. I wasn't upset but knowing some girl tried kissing my boyfriend kinda pisses me off. Austin sighed as he walked off. I grabbed his arm causing him to stop. "I'm not mad at you," I said. "I feel so stupid for even talking to her." "Don't beat yourself up about it. It's ok." Austin wrapped his arms around my shoulder. We walked pass Cameron who whistled at me. Austin chuckled and kept walking. We reached the court yard with everyone else. "Frozen yogurt," asked Maddison? "I can't I have training." "What about you Keegan?" "Sure." I turned around and looked at Austin. "I'll meet you at your place," I said. "Ok I love you and happy birthday." "Thanks and I love you too." Austin walked off while the rest of us went to get FroYo

While we were there Lucas and Aaron kept harassing me in a funny way though. Maddie tried helping me but failed. After they harassed me the FroYo staff sung happy birthday to me. "Aww thanks," I said. My friends hugged me. Before we left FroYo I got Austin some then went to his house. I took a shower the put on one of Austin's cage fighting sweatshirts. I walked over to Austin's dresser looking for my royal blue nail polish. I looked around for a while then I just gave up. I put my hair in a bun and threw on my glasses. I started to read one of Austin's books. About half way through I placed the book down in front of me and went to sleep. At some point during the night Austin walked in. His things were on the floor. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. The lights were off and my glasses were off. The light from the bathroom shined down the hallway. I got out of bed and walks towards the bathroom. I knocked on the door. "Just a second." I slowly opened the door to see Austin standing in the mirror. "Babe," I said softly. Austin looked back at me. He smiled as he walked over and kissed me. "I'm sorry for missing half of your birthday," he said. "It's fine. I just want cuddles and tomorrow we're going homecoming shopping." "Yes love." I smiled as I grabbed Austin's hand. I walked back to his room and plopped in the bed. I went right back to sleep.
