Chapter 9

Axel's P.O.V
I was driving Riley and his mother around the all day. All we did was walk around looking for clothes and shoes for this evening just for him. He had enough clothes and shoes, I guess he just wanted to spend more time with his mother.

We ended up buying enough things to start a shop ourselves and guess who pushed the shopping carts, me that's who. I would've complained if I didn't love seeing him and his mother having a good time together.

I like it when he gets along with her, it's cute to see them happy. When we'd gotten home Martha announced she needed to go and once she left Riley began to talk about how much he loves her and how great a person she is.

He said things about her that wouldn't make you believe he hated her before. We were right now on the floor taking price tags off the items he got. He was humming happily and it was honestly the cutest sight ever.

"Thanks for getting my mommy here." He said as he smiled sweetly at me. "Anything for my number one and it's the least I could to for our anniversary." I said back. "Maybe we can take a break and just...dance." He said. I cocked an eyebrow. "Yes, dance. And I know just the place." He said as he got up.

I did the same and he took my hand before leading me to the back gazebo. I looked around in amazement as the pillars that held the thatch roof had white lights going down them in pretty spirals and between each pillar.

There were rose petals everywhere and gentle music was playing in the back ground. Everything looked so sweet and nice. "I thought because you never got to go to your prom with me that we can have our own little one here." He said as he studied me.

"It's beautiful but...you didn't have to." I said. "I did have to, you've sacrificed so much for me, you missed so much of your time with your family because you wanted to be with me, you dealt with my screaming even when you were having a shitty day, you put me first and I just wanted to say thank you." He said with a smile.

"You're so sweet to me." I whispered with a smile. "Can I ask you something?" He asked. I nodded and he smiled. "Be my date to prom?" He asked as he held his hand out. I giggled softly and took his hand.

He put his hand on my hip, taking the roll of the dominant, as mine went to his shoulder. We held each other's hands and danced to the music. Swaying gently and gazing into each other's eyes. It wasn't long before a really slow dance song came on and he pulled me closer. I wrapped my arms around his neck as his went around my waist.

I would've loved to be at prom with everyone from school, they'd be so jealous of me and some really pissed I told them I'd have a boyfriend this great. "Thank you Baby Boy, this was amazing." I said when we pulled away from each other.

"Anything for my number one."

Riley kissed me gently before wrapping his arms around me and cuddling into my side. We were on the couch watching cartoons and Riley was falling asleep slowly. His phone vibrated on the table and he mumbled nothing before turning into my side.

I chuckled as I reach for his phone and opened it. It was a text from...Jason. What the hell? I thought he'd stopped but now I'm finding out he's texting Riley.

Saturday
Jason
Baby baby baby, you're running out of time.
Riley
Please don't do anything, I'm working on it okay...I just need to get Axel distracted okay.
Jason
You better hurry up Baby, I'm getting impatient.

After reading the conversation I looked at Riley sleeping in my arms. I didn't know how to feel about this. A part of me wanted to be mad he never said anything but another part of me wanted to be heart broken thinking he might be cheating.

I put his phone down deciding to just sleep and talk about it with him in the morning after we've both gotten some rest.

So I lost my diary at school and I'm terrified someone finds it and completely ignores the first page, which tells them to respect my privacy and return it to my class or take it to lost and found, then they read everything and I mentioned names, I think and everything and ugh!

But this isn't about me, it's about Axely sooooooo...Brace yourself for bullshit.
