Time flies. Maybe not literally, because as we all know, Time is something we cannot see. It exists, but not for our eyes. So in a way, it doesn't and can't fly. But in another way, the way like we know there's time, it does. It passes by like it never existed.

Of course it's noticable that when time has flown by, whether it was just a few minutes, maybe hours, or days, months even. And if we're really going big, the years. But that's quite noticable, years passing by. Because in a year, so many things change.

Like how in three years time, Calum and Michael had been through quite some stuff, but were now happily together with their adoptive child Sascha. It had been a bit of an eventful story, how everything got to this.

Michael had taken on a job of babysitting, filling the spot for families nearby that really needed one. And like anyone, he had a favourite. The small family a few houses down, who had only ever interacted with Michael's family. They were barely ever home, but when they were, they were usually chatting with Michael or his parents or had them over for some dinner.

The parents of Sascha, who was an only child, had had a rough few years behind them, that year only being the second year things were going well. They had lost lots of family and it was really only the three of them, after having tried many times for a child. But to everyone's shock, one night, when Michael was babysitting, Sascha's parents got into an accident. Neither survived.

They had left Sascha in the care of the Clifford family, having claimed them as Godparents without informing them. And as nice as they were, they didn't say no.

To support the new addition to their family, Michaed's parents had to work more and cut down on the dinners Calum joined in on. Which basically already cut down the time spend together and add an almost two year old child to take care of all day to Michael's list and well, their relationship went the wrong way.

But after some time of adjusting and getting used to everything, they made up properly and even decided to move in together. In the time Michael had been taking care of Sascha, he had grown to love her as his own, making him suggest to adopt her. His parents weren't all too sure at first but after announcing Calum got a steady job somewhere and he himself was going to take on an online course, they agreed. But of course they made sure he knew he could always come back or ask them for help with anything. Even Ashton's mum had joined in on that.

And that's how Michael and Calum ended up in a cute little apartment with a daughter, living their life as a family.

Of course during these years, Ashton had watched and comforted Michael when needed, while Luke comforted Calum. They consulted their friends and pushed them in the right direction, happy when everything went fine.

Talking about the two immortals, they had had the years of their lives.

Even after being together for almost three years and spending almost every moment they could have together, they were still not sick of the other. Which showed how much they loved each other. Anyone would be jealous of their relationship. Especially the way they got together.

Luke had asked Michael and Calum to help him give the boy hints when he visited, before managing to get all four of them together in one dream. It took a toll on the blonde, but really, it was worth it to him. He had everything planned out, giving Ashton the night of his dreams by just spending time with the four of them. For some reason, unknown to Luke, that was everything Ashton wanted.

Once they had watched a movie, Luke managed to alter the dream and make the TV-screen show the question 'be my boyfriend?'. And once Ashton noticed Michael and Calum were grinning at the two of them, while Luke looked at him with hopeful eyes, well, he jumped at Luke and kissed him many times, as well as saying 'yes' definitely more than once.

And who knows, maybe once Luke was recovered from using so much energy to make that dream, they finally had their sexy-time.

But all in all, they really had a fairytale ending. A happily ever after.

All because of the boy with the Heart of Gold,

The End.
