~Still Mika's POV~

I woke up and I was pretty much spooning Lily. I wanted to jump back but she was so warm, but if she woke up she would never let me sleep in the bed again. I slowly moved away and noticed she was still holding my hand. I smiled and gently let go. She made a muffled groan and flipped over to face me. She was still sleeping.

I managed to get down stairs and noticed Yuu was already awake. "Good morning Sunshine!" He smiled at me. I smiled back and sat down at the small table. "We are running out of food again. I think Crowley wants to go get food for the humans..." Yuu told me. He had a piece of bread and was putting peanut butter on it.

"Why would he want to help the humans?" I asked and he just shrugged and said, "How would I know. Ferid is out. He doesn't want to help humans. He has a lot of human blood in the back of the car so both Crowley and Ferid are fine on that. I think we are having a meeting about food today."

"A meeting about food? I think I could help." Lily just came down the stairs. She yawned and her blood red eyes shined in the morning sun light. Her hair was a little dirty though.

"Okay! You know a place near by?" Yuu said happily for better food than bread and peanut butter. She nodded and sat down next to me.

Yoichi knocked on the door and Yuu answered. "Guys, the meeting is about to start come on." We got up and followed him out to the town square.

~Lily's POV~

A man who never introduced himself to me began to talk, "As you all probably know, we need to go on another food run. Both near by gas stations have already been raided by us and also the small grocery store. Anyone have any ideas near by?" The circle began to speak. Mika looked at Yuu who looked at me. I noticed Crowley across from me. I raised my hand nervously.

"Yes?" He said pointing at me. "I knew a place. It has lots of food, water, gasoline, and a four wheeler. "

"Could you point it out on a map?" He asked and the circle got quite. I blushed and said shook my head.

"No, sir. But I could go there. It was the last place I visited for the night before I got here." He studied me and said, "How do I know I can trust you?" I was shocked by this question and was about to answer when Yuu answered for me.

"She would not betray us. She is apart of my family and you are too. Her betraying you is like her betraying me!" Yuu yelled and I agreed with him.

"Who wants to volunteer for this mission?" Of course, Shinoa's whole team did but he shot them down saying they need to stay back and defend against the monsters. Mika really wanted to come but Crowley said he would go because he needed to stretch his legs anyway.

"I could still go." Mika said but Shinoa teased,"Aw come on Mika. You have not stayed with us since Lily got here. Don't you think she can handle her self." Mika stared at me and I said, "Mika, I don't think Crowley would attack me. I mean he only did because I tried to kill Ferid. I should be fine. "

"Yeah, I'll make sure she is safe." He put his arm on my shoulder. It was a little uncomfortable, but unlike Mika he was not warm. Mika walked up to him and whispered in a low voice so only me and Crowley could hear,

"If anything happens to her or she goes missing I'm going to immediately kill you." Crowley just put his arms up and said, "Hey, man have I betrayed you yet? I promise I won't let anything happen to her." Crowley smiled and stepped back.

"...Alright go..." Mika mumbled next to Mika.

"Lead the way sister." Crowley said to me and I jumped in the direction of the gas stations. I was soaring through the air and it felt amazing. I hadn't moved so freely since I was first a incomplete vampire. It didn't take long to get to the gas station and I stopped there.

"What's the hold up, why are we at the gas stations?" He asked me curiously looking around.

"We have to go that way."I pointed to a forest near by. It looked like rough terrain.

"But, I wanted to check out the gas station..." I told him. He looked at me with the most curios expression.

~Crowley's POV~

She is so strange. Why does she want to check out the gas station. Nothings inside that is worth anything.

"Okay, whatever you want to do. " I told her and she went inside. I stayed outside on watch. The sun beat down onto me and I was about to go inside when I heard a scream.

"Lily?" I asked walking in and a vampire was on top of her. She pushed him off but she had a small cut on her arm.
"DIE HUMAN!" It yelled at her. She dodged it rather skillfully and reached for her hair but grabbed nothing.

"Ah! Twins?" She yelled and I realized she left her weapons at the human camp. I deicided Mika would be upset if I didn't help so I killed the vampire with a single stroke of my blade. It turned to dust before me and I turned to her.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Why did that vampire call her human. That is very strange.

"Yeah, I have a cut on my arm but it's not bad. He just sort of jumped at me from behind a shelf. " she looked at a turned  over shelf.

"Let me see the cut." I came over to her but she backed away.

"No, no. I'm fine. I'll fix it up when I get back." She said nervously not wanting me closer to her. If she wants to play that way. Fine. Ill just let Mika hate me.

"We can go now. There is a narrow path through the forest and it leads to a fall out shelter or something like that. It's underground." While exiting the shop I couldn't help wonder why that vampire thought she was human. They can usually get the difference. Lack of blood probably.

We started going down the path and she said, "Wanna know something strange?" She asked me. She turned and looked me directly in the face for the first time. Her eyes. Something with her eyes. The trees ruffled and birds flew in all directions.

"Sure why not." I said thinking she was going to say I was strange but she didn't.

"For some reason, you are different from Ferid.  Something tells me You..., You were a good comrade, a good friend to some people." How-How could she possibly know about that? My eyes widen but I kept my pleasant smile.

She was walking a head of me. So I ran up to catch up with her. "H-Hey! Did Ferid tell you, anything?" I asked curious if Ferid actually mentioned me to her before.

"What! No. I would never talk to Ferid. He is evil. Weren't you listening," as she said this she shoved me slightly in a playful manner. That caused me to sway off the path a little and kicked some leaves up in the air. Sunlight shined through them.

"I said I felt it. Nobody told me anything....Is there something you want to share?" She asked me curiously. Her hair waved in the wind and time seemed to slow. I wanted to say, I wanted to talk but thinking about it hurt. I shook my head. My braid bounced side to side.

"Naw, I want to remain mysterious." I smiled at her and she smiled a little back. And just like that time moved again.
