Lost love (a thalico story)

Chapter 6

Thalia's POV-

"Thalia Grace I have decided to...not allow you to quit the hunt. Your story wasn't believable enough and I do not truly believe that you are in love with Nico. I'm sorry." Said Aphrodite.

I don't get it. How could she have not believed what I had said? Now I could never quit the hunt and will never be able to come to camp half blood. That's what upsets me. Camp half blood has become like a second home to me and I don't want to leave! I don't get why I can't stay. I'm going to try to convince Artemis to let me stay here even if I still am in the hunt.

"Lady Artemis? I was wondering if even though Aphrodite denied what I said can we still stay at camp half blood?"

"Absolutely not. How will I know that you won't just date Nico behind my back. Why do you think I had Aphrodite purposely say no so that we will never be able to come back." Artemis said.

I don't think she realized she told me something I don't think she should have.

"You purposely had her say no because you don't want to be here. Because you hate Nico and think he's a bad boy and no one should ever trust him. Well you're wrong. You can't make me leave and I never want to be with you or any other members of the hunt. I am staying!"

"You will not!"

"I never swore on it. And I Thalia Grace hearby renounce my spot in the hunt and agree to no longer become immortal and live a normal life!"

I shouted knowing that I could say that and leave the hunt as long as I loved someone. But nothing happened.

"I don't understand! Why hasn't anything happened?"

"You must not truly love Nico. Only the power of true love will allow you to do that. You obviously do not love him."

Suddenly she took the bow from behind her and took what looked to be as a non poisonus but still harmful arrow and shot me in the leg. Instantly I began to feel whoozy and everything went black.
