Chapter 16

Nico's POV

Great. Just great. Because the Artmis cabin is full I'm stuck sharing a cabin not only with Hazel but with Connor too. And half the time Hazel isn't even in here she's at camp Jupiter. Anyways he sets up his stuff on a bed and I begin telling him what to expect around here.

"So around here people are always crazy about new campers. The fact that your mother is Artemis is going to make it even more crazy. So just watch your back. Oh and try to make friends with Percy because otherwise he may go all waterbender on you."

"Waterbender? What is he a cartoon character. You could have said he's son of Posioden it's not like I'm clueless."

"I was just trying to make a joke."

"I get it. So any single chicks around?"

"A few. Mostly niads who are crazy for love and overly protective. I suggest not falling for them."

"I'll keep my eye out. I like you DiAngelo. Tell me your story how you got here and what happened."

Instantly I am filled with the meories of what did happen.

"We'll save that story for another time. Right now I think your mother may want to see you."

We head out to the big house and I leave Connor with Artemis and head over to talk to Thalia. I notice she's smiling. She rarely ever smiles unless she's with me or Annabeth.

"You seem happy. What happend?"

"I get to stay. I am officially out of the hunt and it feels great!"

"That's awesome. Let's go celebrate with... a picnic?"

"I'd love to."

We head off to the beach and talk for hours.
