"Hailey, look away." The blonde ignored him and stretched out a hand.

Jay squeezed his eyes shut as his life played out like a movie beneath his eyelids. The reality that he was about to die was setting in. He pulled the trigger.

The gun clicked in his hand.

"Huh?" Jay moved it from his head and stared at it. After inspecting it, he popped open the revolving part. It was completely empty.

"It was.."

"Empty..." Hailey finished, who was still handcuffed to the bed, her tear-streaked face painted with confusion and anger.

"It was empty..." Jay repeated. His mind had gone dead. These people had done this just to mess with his mind, to make him go crazy, to make Hailey go crazy. To give her a false sense of freedom, and then take it away so quickly. It was insane. But it was working. The poisons and torture had already been messing with his head, but this, this made it worse. He flung the vile thing away from him, before retrieving the key and freeing Hailey, who threw her arms around him, squeezing him tightly. He hugged her back, feeling his shirt getting moist from her fresh tears. He didn't care.

"Oh my God, I thought that was it..." Hailey muttered into his shoulder.

"So did I. But it's not, and I'm glad it's not." He pulled away from her, and tilted her chin up so he could look into her eyes. Emerald met sapphire, as the two stared at each other for what felt like an eternity, before Jay closed the distance, pressing his lips to hers, and she instantly responded, pulling him closer, her hands finding a way to his hair, twisting it in her fingers, pulling it slightly. Jay placed one hand on her back, and kept the other on her cheek.

The kiss grew more intense, and when Hailey's tongue flicked across his upper lip, he couldn't take it anymore. He had wanted this girl for a year, and now he had her. He pulled away, breathing heavily. Hailey had a glint in her eyes, one he hadn't seen before. Jay smirked and pulled her back into him, snaking his tongue into her mouth swiftly, her tongue wrestling his, eventually losing. Jay probed her mouth, exploring and mapping out the new territory.

Jay pulled back again, leaving Hailey wanting more, he went back in, but this time ignoring her mouth, and went straight to her jaw. He placed light kisses down her jawline, and then down her neck. She leaned back so she was laying on the floor, Jay on top. He continued his search, finding her sweet spot. He bit and sucked on it, probably leaving a mark. She moaned in ecstasy, which only succeeded in turning him on more. She pushed him off of her, and stood up, brushing off her shirt. Jay quickly found his way to his feet.

"Was it something I did?" He took a nervous step toward her.

"Not necessarily, but I think we should stop here, because you're excited enough as it is." She smiled, turning her head slightly. Jay looked down and saw what she was talking about. He flushed a deep red color.

"I'm sorry-"

"Don't be. I'm glad I can make you feel that way, but I'm not ready." She looked at the ground.

"Neither am I." Jay murmured, also having a staring contest with the floor.

"I still can't believe they did that to us." She remarked, her eyes flicking to the gun.

"I know. But it had a good outcome, right?" He winked at her. She giggled in response, her eyes raked across his body, taking notice of the problem he still had.

"You should really take a shower." She said.

"Why, do I smell bad?"

"I think you know why." She smiled again. He loved that smile.

"Oh." He blushed again, returning his gaze to the floor.

She moved to the bed, grabbing a book and plopping down. "Well?"

He stared at her awkwardly. "Can I have another kiss?"

She bit her lip. "Maybe after. I promise." She winked. Jay rolled his eyes and pouted. He moved to the bathroom with a fresh change of clothes in hand. He locked the door and pulled off his clothes. He turned on the water, and stepped into the stream. Steam rose above the curtains, and clouded the mirror. Jay swiftly took care of his problem as quietly as he could.

He turned off the water and dried himself off before putting on his clean clothes, and put his dirty ones into a chute that went who knows where. He ran a hand through his wet hair and opened the door. He looked around the small room for his girlfriend.

"Hailey?" He called, only to be greeted with silence.

She wasn't there.

Another cliffhanger! Woo evilness. So I'm sorry this was shorter, and I'm not that good at writing kissing scenes and stuff so sorry if that's garbage as well. But please stay tuned and thanks for reading!
