*Jay pov*

"Hailey." Jay shook the blonde sleeping next to him. She stirred and mumbled something. He shook her a bit harder, climbing over her and pulling the blankets from the bed. She groaned and curled into a ball. She only had an oversized t-shirt on. Jay could see the pink lace of her underwear. He blushed and looked away. "Wake up."

"Go away." She hissed.

"C'mon, you gotta get up. Someone's coming in two hours." Jay cast a swift glance at the red numbers counting down on the timer, which hadn't gone off in five days.

"Well, they can deal with me like this then." She snatched the blankets from Jay and pulled them back onto the bed, wrapping her self up. Jay groaned in frustration. He picked up the entire bundle of blankets, including Hailey, and lifted them off of the bed. He grunted with effort. He wasn't all that strong.

"I'm going to drop you." He warned.

"Do it then. See what happens." Her voice was muffled by the blankets.

"Fine." He let go of the blankets, and they plopped to the ground softly. Hailey thrashed and threw the blankets aside, seething with anger.

"How dare you drop me!" Jay took a step back as she took one forward. She grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him into her, pressing her lips to his. Jay's eyes were wide open with shock. The kiss was quick and ended fast.

"Hailey?"

"I forgive you." She rubbed his cheek with her hand.

"Well-" Hailey's expression swiftly changed, and she brought her knee up between his legs. He instantly collapsed, groaning with pain.

"Just kidding." She whispered harshly into his ear before she stalked into the bathroom.

"I'm sorry." Jay called weakly after her, with no response. He lay on the floor for about five minutes, until the worst of the pain subsided. He then tenderly moved to the couch, to wait for Hailey, reading a book. He was lucky he had already taken a shower, or else there probably wouldn't be any hot water left.

An hour and a half later, she finally emerged from the bathroom. Her hair was wet, and she had on a pink tank top and white spandex shorts. She wore no socks. Jay popped up from the couch but backed up when she scowled at him.

"Look, I'm sorry I dropped you, I just needed you to wake up and I didn't know I'm sorry." He stammered. Her gaze softened and she moved toward him.

"I'm sorry too, I shouldn't have done that." Jay sprang away from her protecting himself.

"I'm not falling for that again." He narrowed his eyes at her, which looked really funny based on the position he was in.

"Whatever. I guess you don't want anything from me." She turned toward the door just as the timer went off. The door burst open, and the men in suit rushed in and grabbed Jay, roughly escorting him to the elevator. He glanced back at Hailey, who turned away with an unidentifiable female noise of anger.

"Morning, Son." Andy Sager chirped when they reached the elevator. He pressed the up button, and the doors slid open. "I can take it from here." He said, stepping into the small space. Jay followed him.
