Oh My Gosh. Are you proposing?!{Chapter Twenty - Seven}

Tyson stopped outside a really nice looking house.

"Where are we?" I asked getting out of the car.

"It's our house for now," he answered leading me to the door,"Ladies first."

I entered the house and was met by a happy looking Hacker who pulled me in for a really really tight hug.

"I'm so happy you're okay," he said,"Now tell your boyfriend to stop worrying."

"Sure. Just as soon as you release me," I said."You're kind of hurting me."

"Oops, sorry," he chuckled releasing me.

Before I even had time to recover from Hacker's superman hug, Caleb scooped me up in a bear hug.
Then Speed came along, I put my hand out to stop him.
So instead of hugging the life out of me he fist pumped me.

"Good to see you boss lady," he said chewing with his mouth open.

"Yeah you too. Can you please close your mouth, I don't want to lose my lunch," I said,"So, this is your temporary home now?"

"Yup. Until further notice," Caleb said."So how does it feel to be free?"

"It feels...okay I guess," I answered,"So am I going to stand in the hall way or are you gonna invite me in?"

"Are you kidding, you're the boss' woman. You don't need invitation, his home is your home."Speed said," You are more than welcome to come in."

O - Kay?
He was acting strange.
Usually Speed was the come in don't come in. That's your problem kind of guy.
Why was he so inviting?
I made myself at home and looked around the place.
For a house that contained boys, the place was actually clean.
Only a female could keep this place clean...of course.
Selena.
She must've kept the place clean.
She was always the neat freak.
After my wondering around I came back to the kitchen where the boys were handled in a group, furiously whispering amongst themselves.
When they sensed my presence, they stopped talking and looked at me with naughty eyes.

"Uh...why are you all looking at me like that? It's freaky," I began eyeing them.

Hacker cleared his throat and fished something out of his jacket.

"There you go," he said handing me a bouquet of flowers.

Uh...?
Speed took a basket from behind the counter and took out rose Patel's and threw them at me.
Uh...?
Caleb ran upstairs and came back with a pretty looking veil.
Forget pretty...it was gorgeous.
He carefully put it in my hair and stood back, admiring his work.
Uh...what the hell?
Tyson walked up to me and the boys started to giggle (yes giggle) nervously.
Tyson turned around to give them the look.
They immediately stopped the giggling.
He turned to me - he looked nervous.
Serious.

"T...what's going on?" I asked, my heart racing.

Oh my gosh!
The flowers.
The rose petals.
The veil...
No way.
No freaking way.
Tyson wasn't going to... Was he?
Oh my gosh!

He cleared his throat and looked at me, making my heart stop,"Courtney, um...for the first time ever, you are the first girl who makes me loose my mind. Every time I'm around you, I become so messed up, you make me messed up."

Oh gosh.
I just started at him, my mouth hanging to the floor.
What he did next literally made my heart stop.
He got down on one freaking knee.
My hand flew to my mouth, was this really happening?
He fished into his jacket pocket and took out a box.
A box that looked like a ring book.
Was he asking me to marry him?!
I mean, I was still in school, this year was my last year before I could go to varsity.
Was I ready for marriage?
What if I said no...would he be upset?

He started laughing, breaking my chain of thoughts.
I snapped out of it and focused on him,"Um...are you proposing to me?"

"Kind of," he began. He took out the ring and oh my word it was one heck of a rock. The kind that took 100 years to save up for.

He surely knew a way to a girls' heart."I know my line of work can put a strain on any couple...but I don't want that to happen to us. So this isn't exactly an engagement ring, it's more of a promise ring. I promise to be faithful to you and to always love you and be there for you - so will you take this promise ring?"

I took a few seconds processing what he had just said and to also make him even more nervous,"Yes. Yes I'll take the promise ring."

He breathed a sign of relief and put the ring on the finger where your wedding ring would normally be.
He stood up and kissed me for a really long time.
And I enjoyed every minute of it.

"Um...guys. As much as we are happy for you, can you tone down the PDA?" Hacker said.

"Oh shut up." Caleb sniffed,"Can't you feel the love in the air...it's beautiful."
We all looked at him and burst out laughing.

"What?" he asked,"Don't judge me. It's not my fault that I have emotions."

I turned my attention back to Tyson,"You are...amazing. I love you and I love the ring."

"And I love you too," he whispered,"Someone special like you deserves only the best."

"I think I'm gonna cry," Caleb said his voice a bit shaky,"It's moments like this that I wish I had a girlfriend - just like Courtney."

"Bro, you better not be crushing on my woman." Tyson said in a warning voice.

"Never, bro. I'd never crush on your woman," he quickly said clearing his throat,"Even if someone forced me too. She is the boss' lady and I respect that."

"Good." Tyson said and then turned to me,"How about we get out of here?"

"Hmm, I would love that." I said.

"Boys don't wait up. I'll be back really late." Tyson said over his shoulder as he led me out of the house.

"So where are we going?" I asked getting into the car. I took off the veil and put it in the back seat.

"Somewhere were it's only us," he said in his famous husky voice, my knees immediately went weak.

Hey guys just to make things clear. When Tyson's said that they were going to a place where he and Courts could be alone, he meant where he could spend time alone with his girl without anyone disturbing them.
And NO they are NOT going to get down like that.
