Authors Note: so I saw this reylo anthology on tumblr and became inspired to make a book based on it. It's basically previous lives with Ren and Rey and stuff like that (it made me actually cry). So here's a preview of the first chapter inspired by the image above.
The first time she met him he was a blonde male by the name of Matt. He was awkward, clumsy, and to Rey he was just plain adorable. Together they worked on StarKiller Base as radar technicians.
He didn't know much about working with mechanics but she was always there to help him. They were friends. A lot of the time when he wasn't noticing she would give him glances, her heart belonged to him, but his heart didn't belong to her.
Everyday he would ask questions about a guy named Kylo Ren:
"What do you think about Kylo Ren?"
"I heard Kylo Ren was shredded, that he had an eight pack."
"Isn't Kylo Ren attractive?'
"Do you believe he will finish what Darth Vader started?"
The questions often bored her, her answers were often short and blunt. She didn't exactly know who this Kylo Ren was.
But what she did know was that Matt would never see her as he saw Kylo Ren.
