Normality is a paved road ;
It's comfortable to walk but no flowers
-Vincent van Gogh-A few days later
These past few days I've secluded myself to my own space. Purposely I avoided her presence. Blame it on my guilty conscience and possibly my busy schedule. They don't tell you everything that comes in the aftermath. After finally locking eyes with them, and the first touch, pure and simple. Even an accidental touch cause the game to start.
Those bruises were dark, it pains me to know I'm the cause. My need to deny and find an alternative for all these kicked me in the ass. Sometimes I would close my eyes just to check on her.
Watching her in my mind. As of now she was sitting in her bed watching the ceiling. A live scenery played before her eyes. The realistic looking night sky played, it made it seem like she was right outside lying in grass with one arm tucked behind her head. The kind of sky Earth had. Mainly in the areas not filled with tall buildings and bright lights. One that held billions of stars with shooting stars passing by every once in a while. Akira also wore pajamas, if I remember correctly they were the ones she had on at the cabin.I remembered back on when she walked out of her house with one duffle bag of clothes. Why hadn't I realize sooner? Probably because she's been wearing my clothes most of the time. There were now new matters at hand that needed to be addressed.
I forgot about the responsibility of...caring for a human. I haven't spoken to her since I've got back but giving her a call wouldn't hurt much. There's only a few things I need to worry about if I do call. Getting beat up, least worse case scenario is getting cursed out.
"Raven, I need you" I spoke into the phone.There was a threatening silence before her response came. "I'm sorry, who is this?" Sarcasm said in her voice.
"Please Ray. I know I messed up but it's been a crazy couple of days." I began pleading. "Come in tomorrow when the sky is lit with light. I need you to play dress up on a newly found target."
"Ok, Àngel but um... you know I'll ask about this when I get there you know how I am. And don't be calling me this late my husband and I were asleep we do have a life you know." I chuckled. Raven has been my best friend since we were young before my parents were killed. Azara's parents adopted me after they found me.
"How's the baby Ray?"
"Driving me crazy." Raven laughed into the phone. "It won't let me sleep or eat what I want. Makes me spit it back out. I can't take it anymore I want it out of me." She cried
"Give it a few more months Rave." A voice said behind her end. I felt the snap before it came.
"Oh shut up!" She yelled. "You did this to me! You--...you know what--, Àngel I'm gonna call you back tomorrow. Now back to y-." The call ended. I knew she wasn't gonna call me back. She says it every time and she never calls back. But I still love her. She's my real family. We'd do anything for each other and she knows everything.
I turned on the Tv and laid back in my bed. A lot is going on with the human world, mainly focusing on crime and rights. Humans aren't the same anymore. They know nothing about loyalty and respect. They hardly protect each other equally. The government system is all fucked up with their heads stuck in money. But so is my kind sadly.

When morning came I was rudely snatched out of my sleep. By none other than Raven.
"Wake up Àngel. You can't tell me to be here early and you're not even awake? I swear to beans Àngel if you don't get up-"
