Stiles POV
I woke up noticing Derek wasn't in bed anymore. Yawning, I kicked off the covers and climbed out of bed, I pulled on a pair of his sweatpants and one of his sweatshirts before making my way downstairs. When I found him, he was pacing in the living room, most of the pack was sitting down watching the scene in front of them.
"What's going on?" I asked, leaning on the doorframe.
Scott looked up nodding for me to come over. I sat next to him, he mumbled something about a threat but Derek hasn't given much information to anyone about it yet. He just started pacing, phone clutched in his hand. I sighed, looking around, Allison, Isaac, and Scott were curled up together on the couch next to me. Erica and Boyd were sitting together in the arm chair. Lydia and Jackson were leaning against the wall. Cora, Aiden, Ethan, and Danny were in a big bundle leaning against the couch. I looked back up at Derek who finally stopped pacing. He stood eerily still, phone clutched in his hand as he bit on his nails.
"Fuck!" He snapped, walking out, the front door slamming made everyone jump.
I climbed over the back of the couch to follow him, he walked past the Camaro and up the driveway. "Derek!" I called grabbing onto his elbow.
He pulled out of my grasp continuing to walk away as I called his name again. He was muttering under his breath when I grabbed onto his hand. "Derek! Talk to me!"
"No! Go away Stiles!" He snapped at me, pulling his hand away.
"I just want to help..." I said quietly, the harsh look on his face breaking my heart.
"I don't want your help." His words piercing me with venom as he turned and continued walking away.
I squeezed my eyes feeling a tear roll down my face, "fine." I pulled off his sweatshirt letting it fall to the ground as I let my wings out.
"Stiles!" I heard Derek yell as I took off, the crisp morning air cold against my skin but still more pleasant than how I was feeling inside. If he didn't want my help then I won't give it to him.
Derek POV
"H-He just took off!" I muttered to Scott.
"Derek, relax." Scott said. "What happened?"
I balled my hands into fists, "I-I yelled at him. I didn't mean to, but I did. Fuck, Scott I-"
"Hey, Derek, look at me. He's just upset. We'll find him. We'll bring him home."
Cora wrapped herself around me, "It'll be okay big brother." She said as I hugged her back.
"I-I didn't mean to...Scott...I-I didn't..."
"I know. Relax." Scott sighed, "Where would Stiles go if he wanted to be alone?"
"His house?" Lydia offered.
Jackson spoke up after, "What about the school? He used to practice when he got upset?"
"Graveyard?" Erica said.
Scott nodded, "Let's split up. I have an idea of where he might be. Derek, stay here in case he comes back, Cora you too, he probably won't want to see Derek."
"Are you making me the buffer?"
"Yes." Scott stated. "Lydia, Jackson, go to the school. Erica, Boyd, Ethan, Danny, go to Stiles' old house. Aiden, Allison, Isaac, check the graveyard."
"Where are you going?" Allison asked.
He shook his head, "We have this spot, we don't go there much but when my dad left and after his mom...it was our spot. I think he might be there."
Scott POV
When I showed up to the spot Stiles and I share I saw him sitting on the big rock that sat in the middle of a bunch of trees, there's a lake just in front. I pulled off my sweatshirt draping his across his bare torso as I sat next to him. He looked at me for a moment before dropping his head onto my shoulder.
"He yelled at me."
I sighed, "I know. He didn't mean to."
Stiles let out a harsh laugh sitting up again, "yes he did, everyone means it."
"What're you talking about?"
"I'm just a burden, I should've stayed dead." He muttered.
I hit his arm, "That's not fucking true you asshole. We need you, we love you, and you're not even close to a burden to any of us."
"Doesn't feel that way."
"Stiles," he stopped me.
"Can we just not do this right now?" He asked, "Please?"
I sighed, wiped his cheek, and pulled him into a hug. "Come home."
"In a little..." He whispered turning to look back toward the lake "Stay?"
"Always."

Third Person
Scott texted the pack letting them know he had found Stiles. The two of them not coming home till after dinner time. They walked to Scott's car, arms linked together, Stiles pulling Scott's jacket around him tighter as it got colder.
Derek pulled Stiles into a hug as soon as they walked through the door, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." He muttered, the words falling out of the wolf's mouth and onto the floor.
"It's fine, I don't want to talk about it right now." Stiles said quietly, pulling away from him.
Derek's wolf whined when Stiles' eyes flashed blue before he stalked off.
"Just leave him be tonight, you can talk to him tomorrow." Scott said.
Derek nodded, "I'm going to bed."
They didn't sleep in the same bed that night, Stiles locked in his room, Derek in his. The pack could feel the tension floating through the house, Scott trying to assure everyone that everything would be fine soon. It'd all be fine.
