"Dammit!"

Nearly everyone jumped in their seats, while Canada and England just rolled their eyes, as America banged his fist against the wooden table.

"I called everyone in this room these past few days, yet not one replied!"

What started as a barely controlled voice rose into an angry shout.

Germany narrowed his eyes at him, lips thin and nose flaring a bit. The strange thing, though, was the lack of the mountains of paperwork. Maybe it was because it wasn't him who called for this meeting.

"Do any of you have a legit reason for not answering my calls?!"

A flurry of excuses flew out of the other Nations' mouths, ranging from the usual to the absurd. America closed his eyes in exasperation and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Ok, stop. I don't want to hear any lies," he gritted out.

"Those that really have problems to immediately address in their countries, please leave."

They quickly left, leaving a few Nations inside.

Singapore found himself in the familiar position of sipping tea, with a laptop in front of him, in Malaysia's dining room. Once again, he stayed over a night at her place.

He sighed heavily, closing his eyes and leaning back. Unbeknownst to him, his host was approaching him on tip toes.

"Gotcha!"

Singapore startled as Malaysia gave him a hug with her hands around his neck.

"You're awfully chirpy this morning. Already had your morning coffee then?" he asked with a small smile, head turned slightly in her direction. "Of course! You think this smile just appeared when I woke up?" she scoffed, flipping her hair a bit. He chuckled, "Point taken."

They proceeded to have a peaceful morning with minimal disruptions.

"Guess who's here?!"

Indonesia barged in her younger sister's house, uncaring of the consequences. Philippines had been a bit distant these past few years, often with the company of the more advanced countries.

She froze when she saw the asian latina slumped asleep on top of a mountain of parchments and papyrus. Drool was close to being splattered on one.

She quickly pushed Philippines to the floor, afraid for the (seemingly) easily damaged papers.

"What tHE FUCK," Philippines groaned out, curling up on the floor and nursing her back.

Seems like Indonesia's haste killed two birds with one stone, waking up her sister and saving the documents. She breathed a sigh of relief, hand over her heart, at the latter realization.

"I know I said you're welcome anytime in my home, Ate Indonesia, but this is getting pretty ridiculous," Philippines grumbled as she stood up, rubbing her back now. Indonesia just giggled.

Fucking giggled.

"Anyway, not that I'm happy to see you, but what brings you here?" Philippines' back was turned to her, so she didn't see her oldest sister's face fall for a second but for plastering on a smile.

"Is it so wrong for an older sister to visit her youngest out of worry?" Indonesia asked, batting her eyes innocently. Philippines just raised an eyebrow - damn her eyebrow why can't she do that? - at her in a way that made Indonesia know that she doesn't believe her.

"Ok, fiiiine. It's just that I miss him." Indonesia flopped on a conveniently placed couch in the room rather gracelessly. Philippines froze for a moment, then gave her a small, sad smile.

"It's okay. You're gonna get used to it."

Australia found himself throwing a boomerang rather aimlessly, facing the wide and open ocean. His hand has bruises now from all the throwing and catching. His koala seemed to have enough of his moping as seen by the strong slap he delivered moments later.

Australia proceeded to curse rapidly, rubbing the back of his head.

"Don't mope over her, you idiot."
