Chapter Ten

Zach's Point of View:

"Zach. What leads do you have?" Bex had asked me a question that I knew but wasn't sure on how and/or if these letters are critical to the investigation. So I just simply handed her the the letter from Cam and the other two letters to Macey and Liz. While the three pairs looked over the letters, Macey had asked Preston to take the younger children into living room to play video games. Which he gladly did. Once they were out of the room I had to ask,

"Well, can we use this?" I had asked the group slowly growing impatient. Bex was the first to speak,

"Look Zach. What your asking us to do is bigger than what we had to deal with before and without the rest of our team, we can't do this alone,"

"What are you suggesting Bex?" Between Bex and Grant they both shared an evil smirk while looking eachother in the eye and sharing a silent conversation.

"Look if you want our help you have to trust us. So we need Joe and your dad along with, two other Operatives that none of us are related to," Grant said while Bex was whispering something into Jake's ear so none of us could hear and gave him a burn phone and a number to call, I assumed she gave it to him to call Joe. When Jake was out of the house to make the call I asked Grant,

"What and who are you inquiring,"

"We have to go to Blackthorne and meet Black Hawk and her partner that just transfered CIA,"

Black Hawk? Never heard of them? Who is this Black Hawk and what is her role in this mission?

"She's the only one that can help us find Cameron and Morgan. Zach, trust. And yes, you were thinking out loud," Grant informed me. Well that's helpful, I thought.

"Lizzy, before we leave we need all the info we will need on Black Hawk and more," with that she opened her favorite laptop and went straight to the Government data base. "Macey, we need disguises, places to stay, vehicles, a jet, and fake ID's/passports. Grant help Macey with fake passports after you're done, help Bex. Bex try to get more leads and information on where they might be. I'm going to go make some calls and try to reach Cam. I want be on our way to Blackthorne within the next 3 hours," with that everybody had gone to work and we could barely find anything on Black Hawk.

Cammie's Point of View:

On our way to Blackthorne, I had done as instructed by Jake to call Joe and have him meet us there to explain everything we know about Zach going on a mission to find Ryan and I. Just before we had gotten to Blackthorne I had Josh pull into a rest area so Ryan can put on her costume so no one would know it was her, with the exception of who already know. Morgan wore a Pixie cut Black wig with Black contacts and her youth military training clothes on; combat boots, camo jacket, black t-shirt, and deep brown skinny jeans. Where I was already in my uniform (see Chapter 7 cover).

As soon as we pulled up into a hiden space for Josh to park his car, I took Morgan and ran toward the entrance of the school, then toward Joe's office. Phew we made it before the rest of the gang made it. When we were seated in Joe's office, I realize we weren't the only one's there but, Agent Edward Townsend (Zach's dad) was also here,

"Mrs. Goode, I know you must be wondering, what Agent Townsend is with us? Well, there's some changes to your cover and who all will know about your mission," right then Josh and Drac came into the room, "for example, you will be my biological daughter and Josh will be your 'boyfriend'," my eyes went big on that last part,

"Joe we can't do that," me and Josh said at the same time,

"And why is that?" I hesitated for a moment before speaking,

"Because, he's my twin!" I blurted,

"I did not see this coming. Well, you two still have to play the part even tho of your bloodline, just for out in public an on missions. Agent Townsend is the only other authority figure besides myself that will know about your mission. On this mission, even you will have to help your crew find, well you, you will also be finding Catherine and killing her and make sure it's a headshot this time and no explosives. While your on the mission, Josh will be with you at all times, while Townsend and I will do the same and when one isn't that person will watch the kids. Morgan will have two protectors, Jake and Drac, I suggest Morgan use her code name from now on and you as well ms Solomon, Morgan also has to introduce Drac to Jake,"

" yes, sir. Now where is this mission taking place?" I was unprepared for the answer I was about to be given,

"New York," before I could respond the pager went off, signalling someone was here and my guess was Zach and my Gallagher/Blackthorne family. My guess wad on point because, Zach's voice filled the room through the intercom, indicating they were here. Just before there was a knock on the door, I did what I do best. I hid. I hid in a dark corner in the office while, Ryan was on her Grandpa Joe's lap, leaving Drac standing in plain sight next to a corner which Josh was hidden horizontal from me. As if on cue, Bex was the first to walk then the rest followed in, leaving Zach entering last with my son... Grant?!?! Why did the gang come with one of their children in tow?!?! Especially, Zach bringing Grant along. He knows what can happen if he does, why would he? How could he put our eldest in to a High Risk mission to 'find' me? Us? I then saw Ryan's eyes go wide and I knew she was internally freaking out at the sight before her eyes and thinking the same as me.

Zach's Point of View:

The first thing I noticed when I walked into the room, other than my dad, was the child on Joe's lap but, I didn't care. I was a man on the verge of going crazy to find his wife and daughter,

"Mr. Solomon, our crew has gathered information from critical sources that we have leads on Cameron and Morgan Goode, what Black Hawk looks like, and where they may be,"

"Zach, what were your first leads?" I took the 4 letters from my bag and handed the papers to Joe. While he was looking them over, I noticed the child on Joe's lap making googly eyes at Jake, then I realized we weren't the only ones in the room. I saw another child. A boy. He looked like he was around Matt's age. The kid looked almost lik-

"Well Zach, I must say you're a master at noticing things like, figuring out Cam and Morgan may need you on their mission but, you're not the sharpest crayon in the box. Do you know why? I'll tell. It's because you worry too much and are UNPREPARED because you do NOT have enough people to go on this mission, not including the children. That is why I have assigned you two other Operatives and two other children," before I could ask who, someone spoke up behind Joe,

"Hello again, Zach Goode," JOSH! What is he doing here? With a kid. Then the little boy had spoken up to Jake,

"Hey Jake. Sorry we weren't able to meet up yesterday,"

"Oh no, man you're good," and found themselves in a conversation, so Grant had taken the 3 children that were brought with us today for this mission.

"So, you see Josh is Black Hawk's partner and had also remembered what happened with Cammie when they dated," Joe said, "and now let me introduce to you all, Black Hawk."

Sorry if this Chapter was a little boring. I will try to speed things up and go into further detail. If you have any advice you'd like to give me or comment any suggestions you'd like to see I'm all for it.
