Zammie-All About Time

Chapter 25

Bex had bolted up right in her seat and Morgan sprinted as fast as she could to me. She jumped up onto the bed and I held her tight and she did the same to me. I missed my baby girl so much. So much tears started to fall from my eyes and would not stop. I couldn't believe how big she had gotten. She had to be at least 11 almost 12. Oh my goodness, I said to myself, it's almost Morgan's birthday! And has been 3 and a half years since my mission began. It was almost time for me to go home but I fear Zach will never forgive me. By now, he probably thinks I'm dead. My thoughts were broken by Joe clearing his throat. Clearly he was worried and he had something to say, 

"Cam," He started, "Zachary Goode believes you're dead," I could barely breath. My worrisome came true. I'm so sorry Zach. Please forgive me when the time comes. I said to myself. I then looked down to see my baby girl looking straight at me. And she asked, 

"Mommy, is Daddy okay?" To be truthful, I had no clue how to answer that. For all I knew, Zach was going to go completely crazy if he hadn't already. At this point, I knew what I must do. I had to lie to our daughter to keep her safe and not fear of her father. 

"Yes, Baby Girl. Dad's going to be fine. Why don't you go with Aunt Bex. Me and Grandpa have to talk about something," At my words, Ryan did exactly as she was told to.

As soon as they exited the room, Joe began to explain to me,

"Catherine's plan to send Zach a pic of "you" laying on the floor dead had also, helped our mission become a success," I was confused,

"How did it help this mission become a success?"

"Well, you can't go back to your family for another year and a half and since Zach believes you're dead, he will stop looking for you," I just accepted it and not ask any further considering my  head was in a spin. "For now, we must prepare you for your next task," I was very confused on what Joe had just told me, "There will be some changes around here. This institute will no longer be a school for troubled boys. This will now be a school just like the Gallagher Academy with it still being the acception of this still being a school for boys and training for assassins. You are to be the assistant principle and the P&E teacher here at Blachthorne Institute for boy. You will still have your cover of being Black Hawk. By the time Ryan is 13 and 3/4 years of age, your covers will be over and you two will be able to go home and be with Zach,"
