Chapter 3

Abby's POV

"Yes dad?" "Do NOT just tell me that I saw you kissing this Jace guy!" My dad says angrily. "No! Not at all! He kissed me and I didn't know," I say. "You know you've been in a lot of trouble lately, how do I know your not lieing?" "I'm telling the truth dad!" I say honestly. My dad glares at me. "I'm so disappointed in you Abby, go to your room."

I go inside and walk upstairs to my room and slam the door. "And give me your phone too!!" My dad yells. I give my dad my phone. "When am I getting it back?" I ask. "Saturday,". I go to my room and lay on my bed.

What the actual fuck. My life is terrible. My life is ruined because of my dad. But why did Jace kiss me? He probably does that to all the girls, now I'm in trouble because of him. I wish I could text him to tell him what happened!

I remembered that I still had my IPod touch. I look through my old drawer and find the iPod. I type in his number.

Me: why did you kiss me?! Now I'm grounded because of you!!!😡😡

Jace: how are you texting me if your grounded?

Me: i found my iPod😑

Jace: your a bad girl

Me: ur a bad BOY!! It's all your fault!!

Jace: I'm sorry😥 I didn't mean for you to get in trouble. I'm going to talk to your dad

Me: ok

I hear a knock at the door. My dad answers it. I peek through my bedroom door to see Jace standing there apologizing to my dad. "It's ok, but why did you kiss her?" My dad asks. "That's what makes me confused, I don't know why," Jace says.

"Well.. I accept your apology, but she still can't have her phone until Saturday," my dad says. "Ok sir, thank you sir," Jace says happily. "Your welcome, have a nice day," says my dad as he waves goodbye. Jace walks off and waves bye.

My dad closes the door and starts heading up the stairs. I quickly hide the iPod and pretend I was reading a book. My dad slightly knocks on my door. "Come in, " I say. "Abby?" "What do you want?" "I talked to Jace, he apologized and I forgave him," "Ok, but dad, why did you freak out when you thought I kissed him?" I asked.

"I just wasn't ready for my little girl to grow up so fast, but if you want to date you can date," "Dad! I am 15! I am NOT your little girl anymore. I've grown up, when will you? And I don't want to date anyway," I say shaking my head. "Ok," My dad walks out of my room. I grab the iPod an quickly text Jace.

Me: still can't have my phone til Saturday. Ur apology worked. Can't talk now bye

4 DAYS LATER.....

I wake up and stretch. Big day today. Got to do your best. I put on my slippers and go to the bathroom I brush my teeth and take a quick shower. I find some ripped jeans, a white shirt and a red flannel and tie it around my waist (picture on top). I brush my hair and put it in a ponytail.

I walk out and grab some breakfast. "Good morning," my mom says happily. "Good morning," I say back. "Are you excited for today?" She asks. "Mom, of course I am, I have butterflies," I says squeezing my stomach. "Don't panic just take a deep breath and relax," I take a deep breath. "Thanks mom," I say grabbing some toast. "Your welcome," she says handing me butter.
Later...

I sit in the waiting room of the acting studio. I look at my phone. Jace text me.

Jace: are you here?😮

Me: yes I'm in the waiting room.

Jace: did you get the part??!!😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧😧

Me: ....
Me: yes!!!!!!!!😄😄😄

Jace: I'm so proud of you Abby I'm gonna go find you

Me: okey

I sit and wait and the door opens. It's Jace. He came and gave me a hug. "Congrats Abby! You will now be acting with me!" Jace says laughing loudly. "I know this is going to be so exciting! I'm waiting on my mom to go get the script for me," I say.

"Ok, see you later, tomorrow we are having our first rehearsal," "Rehearsal?! I just got the script today!" I say. "It's not technically a rehearsal it's just a day where we get to know each other and stuff like that," Jace tells me. "Oh that's good to hear,"
"Yeah, well see you later," Jace starts walking out. I wave, he winks and leaves. Did he just wink at me? Why is he giving me these hints?
