Chapter 27

Abby's POV:

I had no choice.

I didn't have anywhere to go.

Anywhere to stay.

And no where to sleep.

He was the only choice I had.

I don't want to fall for him either. I know I still like Jace, I just.. need some time.

"You ready to go?" Noah asks me. "Yep," I say as I ride on the back of his bike. I was too uncomfortable to wrap my arms around him so I just held onto his shoulders. We finally arrive at his house. He introduces me to his parents, and his twin sister Chloe. They show me to the guest room and said that I could stay there for however long I needed to.

I take off my book bag and set it next to the bed and take a look around to absorb everything that has happened to me. I belly flop onto the bed and sigh loudly.

Wow, Henry Danger is almost over... And I have to go to school on Monday. I groan at that thought.

Well, shit.

Noah's POV:

I thought Angel was very pretty. Extraordinarily pretty, actually, but decided it was for the best to not start to like her. I had scrolled through her instagram and saw pictures with her and this guy. I didn't know if they were still dating or not, so I just decided it will be best to back off for a bit.

Although I do want to become her best friend.

Jace's POV:

I lay in my bed just staring at the ceiling. I couldn't stop thinking about Abby. I missed her so much, even though we broke up.

I was so scared, and didn't know what to do. I don't know if she was in trouble or just doesn't want to be found.

I couldn't take it anymore and just called her. It ringed a few times and then she finally answered!

"Hello?" A boy's voice said over the phone.

"Uh, who is this? Where is Abby?" I ask worriedly. "This is Noah, her friend. Are you looking for her?" He asks.

No shit, Sherlock. I'm worried as fuck.

"Um, yeah. She kind of went missing and I need to talk to her," I say. "Ok, may I ask who's speaking?" He says.

"It's Jace," I say impatiently. I hear mumbling over the phone, and it sounds like Abby.

"She-uh said she doesn't want to talk to you," Noah says. My heart breaks into a million pieces.

I start to get angry. "Who are you anyway?!" "Are you her new boyfriend?!" I ask sternly.

"N-no. I'm just a friend like I said," I could hear the irritation in his voice. I start to calm down. "Can you just... tell me where Abby is?" I try to act nice.

He starts to whisper over the phone. Probably because he doesn't want Abby to hear him. "She's at my house. It sounds like you need to see her, so I'll give you my address," Noah says.

He continues to whisper and gives me his address. I write it down and show my mom. She drives me over to the boy's house.

I walk up the porch stairs, and stare at the dark brown, wooden door. I look back at my mom inside the car, and she motions me to knock. I knock, and it opens to a boy with light brown hair and hazel eyes.

"Hi, are you-uh, Jace?" He asks. "Yes. Is Abby here?" I ask him anxious to walk inside. He starts to whisper again.

"Yeah, come in. I don't want her to be upset with me..." he leaves his sentence at that and doesn't finish. We almost make it to the room Abby is in, until I get curious.

"Why would she be upset with you?" I ask him. "She.. she told me what happened. Between you guys," he says while looking down.

"Oh," was all I had to say. "Thanks, for everything. I couldn't be any happier. Thank you, seriously," I give him a fist bump and walk in slowly to the guest room. Abby was on her phone and her back was facing me.

"A-Abby," I stutter. She whips her head around to face me. And her mouth opens in shock.

"What.. are you.. doing here," she asks.

I wasn't sure if she was surprised I found her, or angry that I came to bring her back home with me.

And I was sure she knew I wanted to bring her back home.
