Chapter 5

Abby's POV

NEXT DAY...

I wake up early because we have rehearsal for Henry Danger today. I get up and go to the kitchen. I eat some cereal and go to my bathroom. I take a long shower since I have time and brush my teeth. I put on a white shirt that hangs off of my shoulder, some jeans and white converse (picture at the top). I curl my blonde hair and put on mascara and eyeliner.

I grab my phone and my purse and go downstairs. "Are you ready for your first rehearsal?" My mom asks. "Yes!! I am so excited! Can you hurry I want to get there fast!" I say excitingly. My mom laughs. "Okay, okay I'm coming," my mom says walking out the door. We go out to the car and drive to the set. I walk in and see Jace and give him a hug. He hugs me back.

Jace leads me to where the rest of the cast is and the director. "Hi everyone," I say. "I'm Abby Watts and as you guys know I will be playing Beonca," I say to everyone. Everyone greets me and tells me who are they playing and what this episode is about. While others are practicing there stunts, me, Jace, Riele, Sean and Ella are memerizing our lines. After we all know most of our lines, we start practicing on the set.

1 HOUR LATER...

After the rehearsal my dad comes and pick me up. "Why isn't mom picking me up?" I ask. "What's wrong with me, you think mom is better than me?" My dad asks folding his arms. "Yes," I say. My dad gasps and playfully hits me. "Just kidding!!" We both laugh. "Well, your mom's job called and they needed some help so she went to work early, and your just in luck because no one would've picked you up," my dad chuckles.

I think I should tell my dad that me and Jace are dating. He did say that I could date. Lemme ask Jace first.

Me: hey Jace so I was thinking that we should tell my dad that were dating

Jace: um I do to but won't he make us break up? 😥

Me: well no because when u kissed me he said that we can date 😊

Jace: YYYYYYYEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!😄😄😄
Jace: let's tell him together. Are you at home?

Me: almost I'll be there in 5

Jace: ok 😊

AT HOME...

Once I get inside I go to my room and put my hair in a ponytail. I hear the doorbell ring so I get the door. It's Jace. "Hey," he says winking. "Hi!" I say kissing him on the cheek. I lead him into the living room where my dad is watching football. "Dad, we have something to tell you," I start off. "Me and your daughter-," Jace says. "-Are dating," I finish off. My dad sits there looking at me, then Jace.

And he doesn't look too happy.

"Didn't I tell you that you couldn't date!?" My dad says very angrily. "But when Jace kissed me, you said I can date him if I wanted to," I said through my clenched teeth. My dad sighs. "I'm going to take a minute with Jace okay? Go to your room," my dad orders. I slowly walk upstairs. Why does my dad have to act so shitty? I peek through my door but I can't make out the words. So I decide to watch tv. After a while I hear a knock on my door. It's my dad.

"Hi sweetie-" "Dont sweetie me! You treat me like a child, I'm 15 almost 16 and you won't let me date?!" I say angrily. "That's what I wanted to talk about, I am letting you date Jace, but you can't slow up on your grades when school starts or be late for any rehearsals my dad says. I gasp and hug my dad " REALLY?! Thank you!!" "You better be responsible and I'm thinking about your curfew, in the meantime I will be talking to your mother,"

"Can we go take a walk?" I ask excitingly. "Sure, be careful," my dad says quietly. "I will!" I grab my purse and my shoes and head downstairs. I see Jace sitting on the couch watching tv. "Come on Jace we are gonna take a walk," I say grabbing his hand. "Okay, where do you want to go?" He asks.

"How about Starbucks?" I ask. He nods. We walk out the door and I lock it. We walk to Starbucks laughing and joking around. We get to Starbucks and he offers to buy me a cookie. After we talk and eat our cookies and drink our drinks, and go back outside. "Let's take our first selfie!" I say. "Okay," I pull out my phone and we take like a million silly pictures. I post 1 of them on Instagram. Its_Abby0015: The new ship has arrived #Jabby 😘❤️. I post it and put away my phone. "Want to walk by the beautiful beach?" He asks. "Yes," I say holding his hand. We walk by the beach and talk some more and we get to know each other. Then Jace draws something in the sand:

                  Abby+Jace= Jabby

I put a heart around it and take a picture. As we start to walk home a few girls that look 11 and 12 come up to us. "OMG KAYLA!!! ITS JACE NORMAN FROM HENRY DANGER AND ABBY WATTS!!" "LETS GO GET A PICTURE!!" The girls come and hug Jace. He mouths: Help Me! I laugh. "Girls guess what?" "What?" One of the girls asks. "Jace will follow you on every social media you have, IF you let him go," "REALLY?! OKAY?!" The girls run off.

"That was funny," I say. "That was torture, those little girls squeeze HARD," We both laugh. It's almost 10 and we get to my house. "I had fun with you Abby, we should do this again another time," Jace says wrapping his arms around me. "Yeah, and I got to know a lot about you," I look up at him.

I stare into his sparkling brown eyes. He stares into mine. He leans in, I wrap my arms around him and close my eyes, he places his hands on my cheeks and we kiss for a long time.
