ZACK'S POV

"GET OUT MRS. CALPAKIS, WE ALL WANT MR. FINN BACK!"

My mouth went agape. I cannot believe Tomika just said that. What came over her? Mrs. Calpakis turned to her.

"Excuse me?"

"I said I want Mr. Finn back." Mrs Calpakis looked at me.

"Mr. Mooneyham, please escort Miss Spencer-Williams to Ms. Mullins office." I nodded and stood up with Tomika. As soon as we were out of the room, I turned to her.

"Nice job sticking it to the man!" I held my hand up for a high five. She reluctantly hit my hand back.

"You really think so?"

"Your dad's would be proud."

"That's what you think." She rolled her eyes and playfully shoved me.

"Are your dad's really strict?"

"Yeah..."

"Mine is too, both my parents."

"They'll probably flip when they find out about this, and then they'll take me to more therapy."

"Therapy?"

"They think I have all kinds of issues-- but I don't!"

"Why would they think you have issues?"

"I don't know!" She yelled. I shrugged and the rest of the all was silent. We arrived at Ms. Mullins room soon enough.

"Well, good luck." I said.

"Thanks." She took a deep breath.

"Good job sticking it to the man." I said, "Summer will probably be happy."

"I know she will." Tomika inhaled again and knocked on the door. Ms. Mullins came a few moment later.

"What's wrong children?"she asked, growing worried.

"Nothing bad... For you," Tomika said, mumbling the last part under her breath."

"Mrs. Calpakis sent Tomika to you, she sending and email why, I'm just here to escort Tomika."

"Alright, well, Zack... Go back to class and Tomika you come with me into my office." She said leading Tomika in and closing the door behind them. I turned to walk back to class. I had taken a few steps when I heard:

"Zack! Come back!" I turned around and Ms. Mullins was standing there, calling me back.

"Yeah?" I said walking up to her. She handed me an envelope.

"Give this back to Summer Hathaway. I don't know if you guys are friends or not but please do tho since she is in almost all of your classes."

"No problem." I said.

"Thank you, Zack."

"Your Welcome, Ms. Mullins." She smiled and waved me off and I went back to class. I was tempted to open the letter for Summer. It was probably able Mr. Finn... But what if it wasn't and I just invaded Summer's private property. I decided against opening the letter. It was the safest for our friendship. I got back to Mrs. Calpakis's room. The whole class was jotting down notes on the video that was playing on the over head screen. I came in. I went up to Mrs. Calpakis's desk.

"I have a letter for Summer." I whispered.

"Please give it to her and take your seat." I nodded and went up to Summer.

"Here." I whispered.

"What's this?"

"A letter From Ms. Mullins." Her eyes went wide, "can I copy your notes on what I missed?"
