Consequences

ZACK'S POV

Every action has an equal opposite reaction. My action was to TP Summer's house and the opposite reaction was a sobbing Summer, and annoyed Tomika, and an angry Mother. This did not go a planned. I wanted to apologize, but all I could do is stand there while Summer got yelled at.

"Summer, care to explain what's going on?" her mother asked.

"Yes, actually these boys are-"

"You know you're not allowed to have boys over after 8 o'clock."

"I know mom, and I can explain-"

"I tried to clock in extra hours at the office to give you time alone with your friends, and this is what you do, disobey me by having boys over."

"Mom please, let me explain-"

"And Tomika, I'm sure that your dads would not like the fact that you had a hand in breaking the rules. Summer mentioned that you were co-hosting this sleepover."

"Please Mom, let me say some-"

"And boys, I hope you realize that I am going to call your parents."

"Please mom, just listen!"

"Summer, Tomika, I think you guys should go back down to the basement with the rest of the girls. And you better be ready to discuss consequences and your behavior tomorrow after all the girls leave." Summer walked inside, sobbing, with Tomika comforting her. I felt so bad this was all my fault. I probably just got her grounded for two weeks and Tomika one week, maybe more. Tomika would probably have more therapy though. I just felt so bad, I wouldn't get in trouble, my dad approved this. But something was bothering me more than getting Summer and Tomika in trouble. I may have just ruined Summer's friendship with Billy. I couldn't live with that.

"Ms. Hathaway?" I asked.

"Yes Zack?"

"This was all my idea, and I feel really bad. Can we all go apologize to the girls for ruining their night?"

"I suppose so, but be quick." She sighed, exasperatedly. "They're in the basement."

"Thank you." I said, leading the the guys inside and to the basement door.

"Alright Billy, this is your chance to apologize to Summer. I don't want you guys to stop being best friends because of some stupid prank that was all my idea."

"Thanks Zack."

"Go get 'er."

This is it. The moment of truth. Hopefully this plan won't fall through.

FREDDY'S POV

*takes place right before Summer's mom shows up*

"Zack this was a great plan!" I yelled, throwing some toilet paper on the tree in Summer's yard.

"I feel so alive!" Lawrence screamed.

"Shhhh." Zack and I said to Lawrence. "You have to be quiet." Zack said.

"Sorry," He whispered.

"Something about this doesn't feel right..." Billy said. Of course it didn't, Summer and him were best friends, there's never something right about TP'ing your bestfriend's house.

"Just relax and everything will be- someone's coming!" Zack yelled. We all stood there, silent. The front door opened and two girls appeared. One was short, and I immediately knew that it was Tomika, even though I couldn't see her face. The other one was taller and had long hair. I knew this was Summer because first of all, I just know Summer, and because this was her house and she was the one hosting the sleepover. Well co-hosting it with Tomika. Which is exactly why they would be the ones to check out any noises that they heard. Tomika threw something at Zack.
