Stick it to the Man (part 5)

ZACK'S POV

"Where's Tomika?" I asked, setting my lunch tray down at the table where Freddy, Billy, and Lawrence were sitting.

"She went to go find Summer, I was talking with her in the lunch line." Billy said, "I offered to go with her, but she denied my request."

"Oh, well do you think she will find her?" I asked.

"Maybe?" Billy answered.

"I'm really worried about Summer....." Freddy said.

"Dude." I looked at him.

"What?" He asked.

"Give it up." I said.

"We know you like Summer." Billy said.

"When will you gu-" I cut Freddy off.

"It's ok that you like Summer. We've all liked girls, right guys" I said. Lawrence nodded his head.

"I haven't..." Billy said.

"Not helping!" I whispered to him.

"Sorry..." He whispered back.

"Do you mean to tell me that you've never liked a girl before?" I asked Freddy.

"Actually yes. I've never liked a girl before. Sure, I've deleted with girls and girls have flirted with me, but that doesn't mean I liked them." Freddy said. My eyes went wide and my mouth fell open.

"You're serious." I said.

"Never been so serious before in my life." We all just looked at him for a second, "but I guess you're right. I do like Summer. But please don't tell her!" Freddy admitted.

"We won't." The rest of us said in unison. After that it was silent until Billy's phone went off.

"I just got a text from Tomika!" He said.

"Did she find Summer?" I asked.

"Yeah, they're in the library.... And Summer wants us all to some there right now." He said.

"Let's go." I cheered and we got up and threw our lunches away and walked to the library.

"I can't believe we didn't junk to look in the library!" Lawrence said.

"That's Summer's special spot." Billy said. We continued our walk. We got to the library and instantly spotted Summer and Tomika.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Boys! Glad you could make it!"

SUMMER'S POV

"How did you find me?" I asked, taking a bit out of my apple.

"I always know where to find you." Tomika said, "what's wrong?"

"Getting Mr. Finn back is going to be a lot harder than I thought."

"Tell me about it."

"Did Ms. Mullins talk to you about it while you were in her office?"

"Yeah. She  mentioned that she was going to tell me exactly what she told you."

"Which is...."

And in unison we both said:

"Mr. Finn will not come back unless Mrs. Calpakis gets fired or quits. No exceptions." We both laughed.

"We need a stronger plan." She said

"Got that right." I agreed.

"What're we gonna do, band manager?"

"For the first time in my life, I don't know."
